My girls and I returned from our stay at WDW late last night. I have been to Disney about 6 or 7 times since 1986.
In all that time the funniest thing I have ever seen, happened during a parade Thursday afternoon at the Magic Kingdom.
We viewed the parade in Liberty Square right in front of the little Christmas shop.
The street is all roped off with very specific places where you can cross. The cast members are very friendly and helpful to people just coming out of The Hall of Presidents and shops.
WELL........This one man is walking right in the middle of the street with a BIG tray of LARGE sodas and at least 3 LARGE ice cream desserts. The begining of the parade is quickly approaching. The girl leading the parade dancing in front of the carried banner can be seen.
AND...................... the man drops the entire tray in the street. So security SCRAMMBLES... by standers are passeing them bunches of napkins to at least get the process of cleaning started while another goes off to get what they need to clean. the enires mess is swept up and the area is wiped down with towels so that the dancers do not slip and fall. Crowd gives them a huge round of applause and they take a bow. "very cute"
The parade continues and is cute.
THEN the offender must have gone under a rope because he reappears in the middle of the parade with yet another tray full of sodas and ice cream.
Well I just fell apart laughing. he did not drop the good this time, but I just couln't believe my eyes!
To me, this was truly the funniest thing I have ever seen there and well worth the price of admission! My daughter and I had a laughing fit the next day as we reviewed our pictures. I know we will retell this story for years!
