Funniest Sitcom Moments!

This is a great thread

I have 2 that come to mind:

Will and Grace-When Jack finally meets Cher in person and he thinks she's a drag queen "If I could turn back tiiiime".

Friends-When Ross is giving a big speech and everyone is not getting ready in time. And Joey comes walking in wearing ALL of Chandler's clothes "Hi, I'm Chandler, could I be wearing any more clothes?".

The final episode of Newhart. The episode revolves around everyone selling their land near his Inn, but he holds out and they build a golf course around his Inn. He goes out on the porch where he gets hit by a golf ball and is knocked out.
The next scene starts in a darkened room. Bob wakes up and turns on a light to find himself in Bob Hartkey's bedroom from his old "Bob Newhart Show". He shakes the person sleeping next to him and it's Emily (his wife from the Bob Newhart show). He starts telling her about this dream he had where he owned an Inn. This has to be one of the best final episodes ever.

All in the family

When Sammy Davies Jr kissed Archie.

I actually love the Family Ties when Alex turns the house into a hotel for homecoming weekend to pay for the car Mallory crashed. Steven comes home and there are all the people in the living room plus a kangaroo.
Tara

My favorite is on Perfect Strangers where Balki and Larry are at the dentist. Something happens to the nitrus and it springs a leak they ar ein there laughing and Larry sticks Balkis arm with the Novacaine and it goes all limp... I am laughing just thinking about it.
Perfect Strangers was so great. In fact most 80's early 90's sitcoms were really funny.

Slow Down!!!!

Okay. Whatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt doessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

absolutely my favorite.

Earlier in that same scene, they are talking Jim through the application and they ask him "Alcohol or drug addiction?" Jim: "Boy, that's a tough choice."

The Seinfeld episode with the "Bubble Boy", when George is playing Trivial Pursuit with him. I forget the question, but there is a typo on the answer section of the card. It should say "Moors", but it say "Moops". The Bubble Boy is so abnoxious and knows he has the right answer, but George keeps saying "Nope, its Moops!".

I also like The Honeymooners episode where Ralph calls the lady a "Blaaaaberrrrrmouth"

I had forgotten that one. That's a great one! :hyper:

A Murphy Brown episode where there is some type of labor/management dispute going on. The two sides (all men) are arguing and jockeying for position - Murphy walks in and says "Let's settle this right now - drop your trou and I'll get a ruler". Can't believe I heard that!!

The episode of Friends when Ross was using the teeth bleaching creme . His teeth glowed in the dark LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO

Best ever

Mishell

Many of my favorites are here .... Carol Burnett/Gone with the Wind... All in the family/Sammy Davis Jr, final episode of Newhart.

One not mentioned is an episode of Frasier. Niles in is Frasier's apartment getting ready for a date and need to iron his pants. What follows is pure physical comedy that rivals John Ritter or Dick VanDyke. I think he ends up burning himself, the ironing board, the pants and Frasier's couch. I literally laughed myself to tears.

Will and Grace~ the one where Kevin Bacon is co-starring and he and Will break into the dance from footloose. This is my all time favorite. I cant remember laughing so hard at a show.

DH still chuckles over an episode of the Newhart Show (the original; from the late 1960's or early 1970's). Howard Borden, the airline pilot from across the hall, brought a small, smoking, charred mass over to their apartment for Thanksgiving dinner. He told them "the directions said thirty minutes a pound, and I weigh 170 . . ." He had been cooking a turkey.

All In the Family - Gloria's wedding - Edith playing "Here Comes the Bride" over and over, and finally yelling "Gloria!" who yells back "I'm waiting for Daddy" and the sound of a toilet flushing is heard. Too, too funny! :p

Golden Girls - too many to mention - I still laugh at all of them.

Carol Burnett - Gone With the Wind sketch; Chuckles the Clown funeral from Mary Tyler Moore; Chocolate Factory - I Love Lucy (I have a framed print in my living room of that one picture); Honeymooners - the $64,000 Answer, with "Swanee River" being the stumper question. :p

another AITF moment is when Gloria is in labor in the phone booth, and Archie coming to the hospital "in black face"

Oh my can't believe it took this long to remember. The first episode (I think it was the first)of M*A*S*H when Hawkeye and Trapper traded Henry's desk for something. They sneak it out of his office and it is picked up by helicopter. Henry sees it going up and away. He is still standing there and says something like "desk, it go up and up".

I got FRIENDS seasons 1 - 3 for Christmas this past year & have enjoyed reliving their funny moments. One of my favorite moment is Ross & Rachel's first kiss. That part wasn't funny, but all the stuff that lead up to it was, especially the date Rachel went on & she got wasted & called Ross to get closure.

Another funny episode that comes to mind is when they have a Jeopardy type game show to see who wins the girls' apartment.

One of my favorites was the episode where they were discussing the finer points of the phrase, "yada yada yada"

Elaine was talking to Jerry, and probably George. about a recent date. I believe the conversation went like:

Jerry: Heh Elaine, how was your date with Bob?
Elaine: We went out for dinner, and had the lobster bisque. Yada yada yada.
Jerry: Elaine, you skipped over the best part.
Elaine: No, I mentioned the lobster bisque.

Of course, my absolute favorite Seinfeld episode isn't "clean" enough for the DIS, so I am not going there. But any of you really good Seinfeld fans probably know which episode this is.

Anyone remember Ross' leather pants that he couldn't get back on?

Or when Joey learned to use the hand gesture for "quotes" and did it ALL wrong?

This is fun! What a great way to start the day:D
