Funniest scene in a movie?

I know it's not a movie, but as Irish, I have to give a plug for 'Father Ted'. Practically every single scene is just hilarious

I'm watching an old movie OnDemand, called "The Four Seasons", starring Carol Burnett and Alan Alda.

The funniest scene in almost any movie I can think of is when each of the couples are in their own cabin trying to fall asleep but the sounds coming from one of the cabins keeps the others awake.

Carol Burnett and Alan Alda were supposed to shoot that scene straight, but at one point they started laughing and couldn't stop. It was so funny that they put that take in the movie. :happytv:

What are some of the funniest scenes from movies that you've seen?

AGAIN!

That was a funny scene.

For us, as mentioned, Animal House. Too many to mention!

It took me a day to pick a scene but the whole movie is a riot...

"Do you mind if we dance with your dates?"

"When the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor"

I could go on & on. Hahaha!

Not 'with', 'wif' !:rotfl2:

The sad part about that scene is that the actor said with and they made him say wif.:dance3:

Blazing Saddles - Church scene with choir singing with organ - "Our town is turning into ***t."
Mr. Bean's Vacation - the hilarious opera-beggar scene (overdone just right)
The Money Pit - the scene with the stairs collapsing
Police Squad - "Nice beaver. Why, thank you. I just had it stuffed."
Waiting for Guffman - "Corky, we love you. We want you to live!"
Also, in the extras on the DVD: the deleted song "This Bulging River." I laugh hysterically every time.

The part in Zoolander when they guy is explaining that all the presidential assassinations were actually carried out by male models. :rotfl: I don't know why that makes me so :lmao: but it does!

ETA And in Talladega Nights, when Ricky's (Will Ferrell's) dad is trying to teach him to be tough by having him drive a car with a mountain lion in it
:rotfl:

And anything in Airplane!!

Steve Martin in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - "Dinner with Ruprecht":

:lmao: Loved that movie!

I have so many favourite funny scenes.
Dumb and Dumber, there are so many, it was just the most hilarious movie. When his tongue sticks to the chairlift. When one of them is given laxatives and they are using the toilet with a very upset stomach and the woman calls in to say the toilet's broken. The list goes on. Classic movie.

National Lampoons European Vacation. Again, so many scenes.

Oh heck. Every Mel Brooks movie. Both Airplane movies. Naked Gun 1 and 2. Anything Monty Pythonesque. Anything in Waiting for Guffman. Quite a bit in A Mighty Wind. And my favorite scene in The Rocky Horror Picture Show where Frank 'N Furter is chasing Rocky in the lab in his high heels! That scene gets me EVERY time!

Random but the "Somebody to Love" scene from The Cable Guy is up there.

Trading Places - At the end when Louis and Billy Ray corner the OJ market. Then Randolph and Mortimer come running out in their tizzy fit saying that they can't do that. One of the greatest comedic scenes in history.

The Russian speaking scene in A Fish Called Wanda- John Cleese dancing around naked while Jamie Lee Curtis practically passes out from lust above him. Then when the family shows up, and he covers his bits and pieces with their family portrait- priceless!!

YES! THIS ONE! This was the first movie I saw at the theater that had me laughing so hard my stomach hurt.

Basically the entire dinner scene in The Birdcage. Some highlights include when Gene Hackman is talking about foliage ("Talk about your purple mountain majesties"), "Well you have to in Greece," and "My mother always said, 'Live on Fisher Island, get buried in Palm Beach. That way, you'll have the best of Florida.'"
I diiiiiie when Robin Williams says "Well, you know the old saying: Where there's sand..." Kills me every time!

The scene in "Amazon Women on the Moon" when the blond bimbo walks around in the library, completely nude, thinking out loud "I just love to let my mind go blank."

The Black Knight scene in The Holy Grail. It doesn't matter how many times I see that scene, I can't stop laughing everytime.

Most of Happy Gilmore...

Especially when Happy finds his grandpa's clubs and drives the ball down the street and hits those people in the house...
Mover: You just hit that guy!
Happy: He shouldn't have been standing there!

I laugh so hard because my mom does!!
