so there is a matter i want to discuss, coming from one flip flop wearer to another, and i only talk about this in this thread as we are now in the community room so anybody can join in..

but

PARENTS WITH STROLLERS PLEASE WATCH PEOPLE WITH FLIP FLOPS !! RUNNING OVER OUR FEET IS NOT COOL!! AND IT HURTS!!! YOU DO NOT OWN THE PARK, YOU CAN'T JUST RUN OVER OUR FEET THINKING IT WILL HELP YOU GET TO NEMO FASTER....

i had to put it out there!! i got a nice bruise on my preety little toesies from some looser with stroller that was NOT PAYING attention! And she looked at me like it was my fault!!!!! lol

I had a lady run into my son while pushing her stroller. She was in a hurry to get to Nemo.. She cut him off and clipped his shoe and then told my kid to look where he was going! I was soo mad (saw it coming, but could do nothing to make it stop) She took off before I could tell her off, probably a good thing that I didn't get a chance to. I explained to my son that grownups sometimes forget their manners and they are in too much of a hurry to look for little kids at DL.

I cannot stand rude people!!

I get the Hillshire Farms cheese brats, OMG so good....especially with our chardonnay mustard that we got at a local winery.

Sorry your feet got runned over......that's one reason I don't wear flip flops in the parks, that and my feet would hurt way too bad at the end of the day. LOL

I am here!! Have no fear!! Shelly you can breath now I am here.. Wendy you too! I know you guys been holding your breath till I came back! Shelly I have to thank you, this thread is great, its’ not the chatterbox thread, but it’s still a place that we can discuss things, like certain things that happen at Disneyland and it’s also like my “fanclub”..we are here to entertain the diser’s!

I thought of another reason why flip flops should not be warn to Disneyland, well the trolley tracks on main st. the grooves are pretty large that even sometimes my feet get stuck in between,(yes they have really), and well it can be kind of dangerous I guess if your wearing flip flops to get your foot stuck and then have a horse drawn trolley coming right at you on main st….

LOL Ok that is too funny...I can see you now, standing there with your foot, the trolley driver ringing that bell and you with your hand up screaming "nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" while you frantically try to remove your foot from the afore mentioned track groove.......

Don’t laugh pixie it ain’t funny! Its just that my foot and ankles are small and they slip right in sometimes! Lol lol you should of seen me when I was @ glow fest, trying to avoid the trolley tracks while dancing, it was a sight to be seen(yes Hollywood back lot has trolley tracks now), I understand that not everyone has this problem, but I do!! Lol lol, and i have also stepped in there poop on the track also once……yeah.. lol

Okay, so you have given a good reason for not wearing flip flops, but I would like to add 2 reasons why you should wear them to the parks..

• Riding soarin barefooted
  
• Taking them off while riding Splash or GRR so they don't get wet. Easy on and off - Sneaker wearers can't do that (well they can't do it easily)

i do take them off on soarin, but not on GRR, never done that..

also when you visit the goats, even though its dirt its not like your getting your pretty babyphat sneakers dirty! with flip flops as leat you can just dust them off! easy peezy!!

besides i love it when the goats sniff my feet! lol the wishkers tickle!

I haven't been in to see the goats at DL.. I will have to mark that one down as a "to do".. As many trips that we have made to DL, I still have a "to do" list..

The goats are cool!! So they are located behing BTM, at the big thunder mountain bbq place..but right next to it! and oh u have to check out Maggie Moo the cow, that is if she is still there.. anyhow she is cute! And the goats are super friendly and cute…

That’s another thing peeve I have, the gaots, ok these are animals people.. they have feelings too!! I can’t count how many times I have seen some kid pull and yank on the tail and ears of those poor goats!! And the wooden barrels that the goats sit on are not really bolted together that well, but kids climb on it and the parents let them.. although the cm’s make them get off, the parents still feel its cute to put little missy jr with mr goat for a photo op!

Oh my shoes don’t get stuck just when I got flip flops in cause they are bendable.

Things you don’t want to step on or in when at Disneyland wearing flip flops:

Horse poop ( rflol)

Dirty water

Spilled soda
