We are going the week before Easter, and I am afraid it will be pretty busy! I would like to plan some non-park things to do in the evenings along with a nice dinner? We are doing HDDR one night And Cirque one night already! We would love some additional suggestions? What is fun at the Boardwalk?

There's lots to do at the Boardwalk. My personal favorite is Jellyrolls, a dueling piano place, lots of fun. There is ESPN bar/restaurant, The Flying Fish restaurant (really good) and Spoodles Restaurant which is also good. There is also a dance hall type place, I forget the name. Also, on the Boardwalk, they have jugglers, magicians and so forth, preforming. Something else to do at night is going to Downtown Disney, alot of shops and restaurants there too, also a very big movie theater. Have fun :teeth: , Karen

Pleasure Island is fun if you're into dancing, improv comedy and interactive theater...

Adventurer's Club!!!! A must do...tons of fun!

We LOVE DTD at night...very relaxing. Also, the resort we stay at, GOTTA have a day to just have a few "drinks" and hang out by the pool :sunny:

If you are not staying at AKL, you can make an entire evening out of things to do there. Do dinner at either Boma or Jiko (both are great, although I prefer Jiko), spend some time at the various savannah overlooks admiring the animals, sit by the fire for a bit, shop in the hotel store, or just wander around the beautiful hotel and grounds. AKL is really a destination resort all by itself (this is true of many of the Deluxe resorts, but AKL is my favorite in that regard).

When we were in WDW last summer, we found an outdoor DJ at downtown disney. He was great and had all the kids (and many adults) up and dancing. Our dd's had a great time, and it WAS FREE!

The surrey rides on the Boardwalk are a lot of fun. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, then take a ride (kiddos in the basket in the front), then work off the calories burned at Beaches and Cream. There's takeout and I think there's a place where you can sit and watch Illuminations, albeit from a distance.

Downtown Disney is great at night. Or you can drive over to Universal/IOA, where they have Citywalk, which seems to be their version of Pleasure Island. (And they have a Margaritaville, yum!) It's only $10 and that will get you into all the bars there. For $13 you get into the bars, and admission into a movie!

a fun thing to do is to go sit on a beach at night at one of the Magic kingdom resort and watch the electric water parade on seven seas lagoon. grab a drink (HOT CHOCOLATE if in winter) just a fun thing to do and romantic. or fun for the kids.

Yes! Love it! It looks really really weird when you go in (i.e. French Maids standing on the furniture dusting) but it's absolutely hilarious! ::MickeyMo

If you have kids Fort Wilderness has fun evening stuff. We usually go over to the Trail's End for the most inexpensive buffet at WDW. Then we play on the playground while we wait to go on a hayride. After the hayride we go to the campfire sing-a-long with Chip & Dale and eat s'mores! Then we watch a movie outdoors. The Campground board lists the movies at the beginning of each month so you can see if one appeals to you. If you don't want to stay for the movie you can leave after the cartoon & hang out by the beach to wait for the Electrical Water Pageant.

We also enjoy going to Chef Mickey's for dinner & then taking a monorail ride (sitting up front with the pilot!) around the loop. You can always get out & explore each hotel (or if no kids, get a drink at each hotel) if you have extra time.
