Looking for some fun and interesting things to do in the city other than Nascar related. We will not have a car, using Uber. Is the city safe at night? Any areas to stay away from.

Seems pretty safe to me. Lots of restaurants downtown. The Charlotte Hornets minor league baseball team’s stadium is walking distance. Pretty upscale stadium for minor leagues with a great view o& downtown
