We are taking a trip to Hilton head next month. We have never visited before. Does anyone have any recommendations? It will be a family teip
My kids LOVE dolphins! We will also have a two year old and a baby with us, so we are trying to find some things that all of us can do together and separately.Hilton Head is amazing! If you are staying at DVC, the cast members are the best! Rent some bikes and go all over the island. Take a boat charter with either Island Adventure or Dolphin Seafari. Both were great experiences. Dolphin seafari may sound cheesy, but the staff members know their stuff! If you book through Disney for dolphin seafari the price is the same and they usually pick up at Disney first. We did dolphins and donuts morning cruise. Mini golf is great and there are lots of wonderful places to eat!
This looks so great! We just became DVC members this fall and wanted to try a different pace than the parks. Any idea what the weather might be like?We will be there next month as well! It will be our second time (we love the resort)
I’m attaching the picture of the recreation calendar from our stay - things change like times and activities but this will give you an idea. We traveled with our 5 year old so the only thing we couldn’t do that i would have wanted to do that I recommend to anyone who can, is the distillery tour.
There is always something happening.

Where is the mini golf? Is it onsite like Vero Beach?Hilton Head is amazing! If you are staying at DVC, the cast members are the best! Rent some bikes and go all over the island. We were there this month. If you like Jazz music, there's a sweet place called The Jazz Corner on HHI. We ate dinner and enjoyed the shows there twice! Loved it!
Good question! I have no idea. But we had a blast at both dinner shows, they spaced people well, and service was great! Thanks for mentioning this place. I thought it was closed. At one time wasn't it owned by Robert Irvine (?), retired military, from the food channel's "Restaurant Impossible"? Is he still there or gone?
Just wondering if the OP got to actually go on the trip. I can't remember when the HHI resort closed. It may have been later than March. I'm hoping we can make our trip in October! We are taking a trip to Hilton head next month. We have never visited before. Does anyone have any recommendations? It will be a family teip
Actually, Robert Irvine owned a wonderful restaurant on HHI, EAT, that went out of business some years ago.
October is amazing in HH. You might still be able to swim in the ocean.
