Rainforest Cafe

50's prime Time

Ohanna's

Hoop Dee Doo

Any Character meal!!

We do not like the WCC. We find it over the top loud and the food just ok but others love it.

Wher is Biergarten? What type food and entertainmnet do they have?
thnks Nettii :sunny:

Biergarten is in Germany at Epcot. Its a buffet. They have some german food, but regular stuff for kids (mac and cheese, etc) as well. Check out the menu on allearsnet. They have a band and dancing. We're going in 2 weeks again! We've always enjoyed the food and music there.

It depends on the age of your children (or your children at heart)

O'Hana's -- they give the kids noise makers and dance around the dining room plus the pinapple coconut friendship bread is to DIE for!

Hoop-De-Do Review -- You get to eat with your hands (corn-on-the cob, fried chicken, etc) plus the "corny" dancing and singing. Parents might find it a little hokie but the little ones love it.

Sci-Fi -- you get to eat in "cars" and watch the great horror flicks like The Blob"

Hope this helps!! Have fun!!

Thanks Clarabug My oldestds is 11 and my youngestds is 5
Last year we ate at Ohanas but it was more of a family meal. Did you go to the character meal?

Some of our favorites:
Chef Mickey's breakfast
Liberty Tree
Coral Reef

Now don't kill me we liked the atmostphere at Ohana's HATED the food and felt very rushed, If I could just order dessert I would eat there every trip!

Hey just checking out some of the ideas we are going in feb. thanks for all the good ideas. :)

For fun don't miss 50's Primetime Cafe. For cool atmosphere Coral Reef although it's pretty dark inside--my 1 year old really didn't like it. In my opinion, the most magical atmosphere is Cinderella's Royal Table (inside the castle.) We've never done the character meals--are kids are too little to appreciate it, but before we had kids dinner there was awesome.

Cindarellas Royal Castel, I have 2 boys 11 and 5 do you think they would have fun my 11 yr old is very open to having fun in the park but Im not sure about the whole princess thing. princess: :wizard:

My kids liked Biergarten. My DD(7) didn't want to come off the dance floor!!

My husband & I went to 50's Primetime and thought how much our kids would have liked it.

Good luck picking!!!

We were there in August with DD9, DD7, and DS1. Our favorites for fun were Whispering Canyon and Crystal Palace (dinner). I agree with others that Chef Mickey's is always a favorite. There are soooo many. Believe it or not, although it is not traditionally a fun restaurant, we had a great time at Le Cellier in August. In the past, we have also enjoyed Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco at Epcot. The kids, and DH, like the belly dancers.

My vote goes with Whispering Canyon and Chef Mickey evenly, we never miss those two. Sci-Fi might need to be added to my list, DH went with DS this past year when we split up for a bit at MGM & said it was great so we'll be squeezing that one in this year too. :thumbsup2

It's been quite a few years since we've been there (before we had kids) and we went for dinner. At the time I wasn't aware of character meals and don't know if that was going on. I know now that during breakfast and lunch it's a big character thing and many of the girls dress like princesses. I'm assuming dinner isn't like that. It wasn't like that back then anyway. It was just cool because your up in the castle overlooking the park.

My DD and DS loved whispering canyon. Saddle up for a great time and just make sure you ask for ketsup :)

We did do the character breakfast at O'hana's and Dh and I LOVED it!! This up-coming trip will be the first time for our DDs. DH and I are both excited. Think of it this way....It's Disney...everthing is creatived with the young and young at heart in mind. Ask your children what they would like to do and go from there. If a child can think of it, it is somewhere in Disney!!! :dance3:
