Would love suggestions for great places to have a bday dinner for my DD turning 10 while we are there. We did Tony's for my older one, sat ourside and saw the parade go by and it was just amazing. Dont want to repeat but something with a great atmosphere. Ideally a park restaurant but open to others as well. TIA

My DD will turn 11 while we're at WDW so I'll keep an eye on this thread. I hope some good ideas come up. :cool1:

We did our oldest son's 10th bday at Disneyland as a surprise, and we'll be doing our middle son's 10th at WDW (his choice). We tried to make the meal really special one night of the trip for our oldest, so we let our middle so pick his favorite restaurant and even pick what to do one day of our visit (he chose a water park visit).
We have some great ADR's and lots of fun plans for our June trip, so I know it will be special. I marked his bday celebration when making the ADR's, and we'll be sure to tell them when we arrive too.
Best of luck to you. Its such a fun way to celebrate double digits! :cool1:

We did Teppon Edo's in Epcot..we loved it..very fun and they made a big deal about my son's birthday!

They made my son feel special with a hat that everyone signed when they saw him

Hoop Dee Doo would be a great time. They make a big deal out of those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.

If your DD likes animals than I suggest Tusker House at AK. My family took my brother there for the safari breakfast with Donald Duck for his 11th birthday and he absolutly loved it and the breakfast is really good too!

My niece is turning 11 while we are at WDW and the first ADR I made was CRT for her birthday dinner :thumbsup2 I made it a bit early (5PM) since I plan on booking the Wishes dessert party that night. If I can't get the Wishes party (there will be 13 of us so I have to called as soon as they open our day) we will order a cake (or the chocolate slipper) to be delivered at CRT :goodvibes

We did whispering canyon at the Wilderness Lodge and had a great time. It was a nice boat ride over from MK. If you want to stay in the park, I second the suggestion for Teppan Edo

We recently celebrated DD's 11th BD in November. We did Crystal Palace for breakfast, CRT for lunch and 'Ohana for dinner! We had a great !

I love celebrating my daughter's birthday at WDW because she was born in December so we also get to enjoy the Christmas decorations. Usually we celebrate the whole week. We've celebrated at Ohana (Polynesian), Teppan Edo (Japanese in Epcot), Marakkesh (sp?) the Moroccan restaurant in Epcot, Boma (Animal Kingdom Lodge). For her 9th birthday she really enjoyed the Crystal Palace (MK) because she loves Winnie and friends! And for a special treat I took her to the tea room at the Grand Floridan for lunch. For her 11th birthday her vote is still Crystal Palace. We'll see as the year goes on, if she picks another. Have fun planning and have a fun b-day celebration!!

I brought each of my children to WDW for their 7th birthdays and let them choose where to have their birthday dinners.

My oldest picked CP because she loves Pooh (still does at 13).

My middle picked Chef Mickey's but we weren't crazy aobut it. Atmosphere was fun but the food was just OK.

My youngest picked California Grill. Great atmosphere! We go for the first sitting and tend to get a window seat (with 4 or less guests). DD LOVED the big piece of chocolate cake they brought here.:cake:

I'm going for my birthday in May. My favorite is Flying Fish but I would rather go to California Grill on my bday for the atmosphere.
