Where would be a fun place to take kids for dinner at Epcot. We are using the dining plan. I was thinking gardne Grill but the more I look at the menu the more I think I may change my mind.

We like Garden Grill. I loved the old menu. Then they changed it and we really didn't like. Then they changed it again, more like the old one. We like it again (does that make your head hurt? Sorry if it did.) I love the catfish.

Coral Reef can be fun because of the location. It is a good meal, but sometimes a long one. It is a good deal on the plan since it is only 1 dinning credit.

I hear Mexico is fun, and you can even take the kids on the ride sometimes while waiting. However the ride is closed right now, and after when it reopens there might actually be a line for it. I have never ate there though

Still my 1st vote with kids is GG. :thumbsup2

Coral Reef would be a good choice.....lots to look at and you can use the fish finder they give out.
What about Moracco? Belly dancers and live music is really fun and I think some of the best wait staff in Epcot.

The restaurant in Mexico was cool, you sit overlooking a mayan? pyramid and watch a volcano overflow and a thunderstorm go by. The dining area is rather dark but the food was pretty good!:thumbsup2

When our princesses were smaller, GG was a must every trip. There are 2 reasons:

1) Characters-they found everything in Epcot a little more interesting knowing that later they'd be dining with Mickey.

2) Family style service-having everything brought to your table, (but still having a variety) vs. a buffet line was always fantastic. We could actually relax and chat about the day.

Now we do more meals in WS, but every so often we'll make an ADR at GG. The food quality and service were always excellent.

My kids love the Garden Grill. They love the food and the fact that the restaurant is moving and that they can look down in the ride. The characters are always a hit!

Also love Biergarten - dd loves to go down and dance - even found herself a little partner last time! (She's 5).

We love going to the restaurant in Japan, where they cook the food right there at your table. The chefs are actually quite comical too! They make "volcanos" with the onions!! We've gone the last 2 years with DS 2. She loves it!!!:thumbsup2

My kids really disliked the food at Biergarten. Though the entertainment was good.

They did like Le Cellier, but they are a little older (8,10)

all the kids on our trip loved the entertainment at the Biergarten, too. They had a blast and even though they didn't care for all the food, it was a buffet, so they could find something they liked and try some new things they might not try otherwise.

The next trip we plan to do the Morocco restaurant, that sounds like fun too.
