Fun lunch for a two year old in Magic Kingdom?

Hi - We (a bunch of adults and a two year old) will be in magic kingdom for a day. We would like to have lunch there. Is there a fun place to have lunch for a kid that age without getting into a character meal? Anything with atmosphere like Rain Forest Cafe? If not - where would you experts advise?

I know you said no Char meal but the Crystal Palace is very good, & is the funniest lunch choice at MK. My next choice would be Cosmic Rays which is a counter service.

If you don't want a character meal, then I would say Cosmic Ray's as well.

My kids like to eat at Pinocchio House and watch the It's A Small World boats go around!

My son loved Cosmic Rays - we sat in there for a good long while just cooling off and listening to the music.

I would also vote Crystal Palace if you change your mind about a character meal. It is Pooh and Friends, so perfect for a 2 yr old. It's a buffet, so lots of choices.

We love cosmic Ray's as well. We get the rotisserie (sp) chicken and we all love it. Neat atmosphere.

nobody mentioned cinderella's royal table. i know there are some character meals but we have eaten lunch there without the characters. maybe off hours? there's something very cool about eating inside of cinderella's castle.

that being said - we are eating at the crystal palace (have you heard of them? we will have 3 kids on this trip (7, 2 and 6mo) and thought this would be the best place for them.
