Just a quick note to let folks know that we are down in Florida.
I emailed Rosa at Paramount International, who said she had Fun In the Sun Passes available and that I could go to their office and pick them up.

She replied, as we've seen before:
We still offer the Florida Fun-in-the-Sun Pass, adult $311.00 and children ages 3 - 9 $251.00 plus a $15.00 delivery fee in the US. You could pick them up in our office Monday thru Friday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, but you need to order them in advance.

I decided to see if the place really existed and found it, about 12 miles towards Orlando from the Disney area.

The office is small but "real" and Rosa is an unassuming young woman, dressed in jeans but a whiz at what she did. I told her she's famous on the DIS; she laughed and said she had no idea what was going on when she started to get email. She disappeared to enter my data into her computer and returned with the tickets --they are a 3 part official looking deal, with attached breakfast vouchers.

With my heart in my teeth, we then went to a regular ticket window at the Magic Kingdom TTC to activate them. Charley--my guy--had a little booklet telling him how to key it in. It took him quite a while and he had to get help, from 2 people. He asked where I was from, and I thought "this jig is up" as I bravely answered Pennsylvania. It turned out one of the people helping him was his wife, whom I figured out was related to him on account of they were both from Farmington, Me.
In the meantime my hubby activated his annual pass (which gets us a great rate at the AKL and free parking) with no issues whatsover, and was tapdancing waiting for us to get done, absolutely ready to say "I told you so" when the deal didn't work.

After fiddling with his system somemore, it spit out normal looking Disney passes, activated for 30 days of all things Disney, and we got through the gates with no issues. My hair is grayer, but we are enjoying a leisurely Disney experience, rather than the normal hustle to fit it all in (we're down here for a month).

thanks to everyone who reported on this little know money saver.

Thanks for posting such a detailed account of your FITS pass experience! As one who has been thinking about getting them for our trip, I appreciated all the info. Wish I could get them quickly, but we can't afford to do it until closer to our Dec. trip. I worry that by that time Disney may squash this pass, or crack down on the sale of it in the U.S. It would be just our luck...

Anyway, hope you are having a wonderful time!! :D

Last week, after reading up on the 10 day World Pass and the caution flag (not belonging to the BBB) from Mary we ordered 2 adult and 2 child 10 day passes from PIT.

I checked back here one last time for any negative reports and after finding none we took the plunge.

We called PIT and Rosa answered. We asked her about the Passes and she said they were still available and quoted price.
She was very friendly and knowledgeable and it seems she may be the only one in the CSR department.

We ordered on the phone and immediately she faxed the confirmation for signature and fax back.

2 days later we received all four passes and the breakfast vouchers. I immediately made several copies of the passes. The 10 day World passes look like regular park hoppers with the characters on the front and the bar code on the back. They do have a signature line on the back. It apears no activation process is required. Has anyone used these recently and can say for sure?

These passes are for next June and Rosa did explain that the bfast vouchers expire 5/04, which for us is fine as we will use them next month.

I too was afraid they would not be available next year so that's why I purchased early.

Happy to hear Rosa is not a figment of my imagination!!! I watch too much 20/20!

We used the 10 day passes from paramount in Jan. They worked out great. Several months ago I bought three FITS passes for our next trip as we will be at WDW for 16 days. I love all the options with these passes! I was worried that the passes would be pulled and bought them as early as possible.

Thanks Muffy!

Does the 10 day require any activation? or can we proceed to the turnstile at the park entrance?

No activation with the 10 day pass. It does require biometrics (finger scan) but that is no big deal. You just use at turnstile exactly ike an AP.

30 day passes really cheaper than the 10 day? That is the way Rosa quoted me, but maybe the prices were mixed up?

Can the breakfast vouchers be used for buffet type breakfasts?

What is included in the Space center visitor center?

Yes, the 30 day FITS pass is cheaper than the 10 day pass. Yes, the voucher can be used at certain buffetts. The restaurants are listed on the back.

Thanks for posting, we will be there in 22 days with the 3 FITS for the kids. Do you think with DH and I getting AP's there will be a problem?? WE're from PA too so we should be safe - lol!! I had to laugh at your "the jig is up" comment.

I believe these passes are good for 30 consecutive days, so whether or not they are a good value would depend on how long you are going for and if you are coming back in the year.

Can you tell me what breakfast buffets are listed?

Can you do something like go to a park during the day and then Disney Quest at night and it only counts as one day? Or is that counted as 2?

The restaurants/buffets the Breakfast Voucher are valid at the Resort Character Breakfasts and MGM ABC COmm. and Hwood &Vine.
AT AK Pizzafari, Restaurantosaurus, and Tusker House.

There are many Resort listings...Boma, Cape May, Chef Mickey's, Trails End, 1990 Park Fare, Ohana, Kona.......

Not listed are Crystal Palace or CRT as they are Theme Park Character Bfasts.

The voucher is called "Resort or Character Breakfast Feature" and has a purple background. They expire 5/31/04.

As far as these passes being a better deal than the AP's it depends on what you want to visit. Mousesavers explains the differences very well.

I did not realize that the 30 day FITS was actually $25 cheaper than the 10 World Pass. I could have saved $100! The 30 day is a little more involved.

maybe they would let you exchange the passes when you go down there?

They are only available from Paramount Travel. WDW does not sell the 30 day FITSP.

you have unlimited access to anywhere you want to go on the disney property every day for 30 days.

we went to MGM yesterday, then to Disneyquest last night with no hand stamp leaving mgm and no problem getting into DQ.

Someone asked about Kennedy space--the ticket just says it's included--not a one time visit only, can go as much as you want
