I purchased Fun In The Sun passes from Ticketmaina about two weeks ago. When they arrived, I found out that they are vouchers and must be validated at a ticket station. Has anyone experienced this? Was it easy to do? Was it time consuming? Let me know, I want to make sure that our passes will be good and working when we get to Florida.:(

Hi pooh lovers mom,

We used the FITS pass, purchased through Paramount, in Dec. We also had the vouchers and went to the Guest Relations desk outside of Epcot to exchange them for regular sturdy paper-type passes. FYI, adults and older children (10 yrs+) must do the biometric finger scan at the gates also, when using these passes.

Many on the DIS have used the FITS passes with much success, and no trouble whatsoever redeeming the vouchers. We ran into a bit of trouble with a CM who was reluctant to issue the passes to us since we are from the U.S. and these passes are marketed overseas. She contacted a supervisor of some sort who talked her through the process and we eventually got our passes, but it took us 30-45 minutes at the window. Still, we would buy these passes again because they are such a great deal...and hopefully have a better experience at Guest Relations! Good Luck!

Wow- really??? I haven't been to WDW since 2000- this is so high tech- like a science fiction movie! If only Walt were alive to see this!!!

We had these in July and loved them. The freedom to go where and when you want out weighes the time to get the actual pass issued. We went to the International gateway guest relations, no wait, and the one person in the booth was not familiar with them but the other person was. It took maybe 5-10 minutes per voucher but we really loved knowing we could go anywhere anytime, pleasure island, water parks, Disney quest, and the parks.

We purchased ours last month, as a matter of fact they are still active until friday :( .
We had absolutely no problem activating at all, the CM said they don't do those too often but he did it without a problem. The biometric finger scan is not done until you enter the park for the first time at the turnstyles . It was so nice to be able to go around anytime you wanted without feeling like you were wasting a day of a parkhopper, no limitations. I actually had my passport with me just in case they asked or said anything, I'm from Spain and they shouldn't have a problem. They never asked.
It was by far the best value we ever got, and my family used it for Kennedy Space Center too, without a problem.
