Not a huge Halloween fan here- BUT I am excited to be going to The Haunted Fort this weekend! Fright at the Fort is what they call it. Fort Knox (not the one with the gold) in Prospect Maine has done this for a few years now- they "ghost up" the fort and charge admission. I couldn't go last year because I was getting ready for knee surgery and hip replacement surgery and I would have really slowed my boys down! We are going this weekend though!

There is a restaurant in the town I live in that has a haunted mansion out back. I have worked it before as a volunteer and walked through and it is pretty creepy.

My daughters school has a haunted hayride. I volunteered there over the weekend but didn't actually get to go through. I have heard it's really good though. It takes people down into the woods and the students have haunted sites throughout. Her school is agricultural so there are forestry students that climb up in the trees and come swinging down with chainsaws as the carts go by (without the chains so you get the sound but nobody gets hurt). I am going to work it again Friday night and may volunteer to work at one of the actual sites, rather than concessions. We'll see what the weather is like first but I'd love to actually see some of the setups.

There is also an old battleship nearby and they have a haunted battleship. I haven't been so I am not sure of how it is.

I actually love Halloween. I even love the trick or treaters coming by and I don't care if they are from my neighborhood or not. I just love seeing all the kids and saying hi to the neighbors that come by.

Every year we go to a pumpkin patch that has all kinds of activities for adults and kids to enjoy. We spend at least two hours there having fun.

This Saturday we are going to Zoo Boo at our local zoo. They will have activities plus plenty of treats for the kids to enjoy. We will also attend the Fall Festival at our child's school.

Trick-or-treating on Sunday.

This weekend is jam packed with fun!
