ok my $10 china tubes are causing me a plethora of problems but till i get something else a couple ???
it dawned on me ( after everything was overexposed... duh...) the metering isn't working either so is that just a trial an error thing or would there be any range i would figure for something macro( i was using 50 mm f1.8 lens and actually got it on and off the body with out a hitch ..hooray for that) or any tricks...like would bracketed exposure work..i'm guessing not since it's electric?
guess you really are going back to pioneer photog days using these things.
nother dumb ? i was looking up adapters for lens and they mentioned about no af, no meter , but talked about setting it to infinity...what exactly does that do...i know the little infinity symbol, but wonder when you would or would not use it...and if auto focus doesn't work how would you get focus ( if i understood it right) for a larger range using infinity? just due to lens construction?
http://www.vividlight.com/pdf/hyperfocal.PDF.. this is for hyperfocal point which i am guessing is presumed more useful than infinity focusing unless it's the moon or something but would any apply to a small sensor dslr? not that this would help with macro but guess i am just trying to figure out the best way to manual focus for a trifocal wearing novice.
well back to my reading and thanks for any help
