I know this has probably been asked a million times before but I cannot pull it up in a search. How much is it to have Mickey & Minnie show up at your wedding? How long do they stay? Answered, thanks!

ETA: Can anyone suggest a fun way for Mickey & Minnie to enter and surprise our guests? We're having an outside ceremony @ the Swan and were thinking of having them show up just after we finish our vows. We're not doing cake, so cake cutting is out. Our reception is at a restaurant so that really isn't an option either. We will have a violinist and guitarist so maybe they could dance with us? Suggestions/ideas? We're not planning on telling anyone so it will be a big surprise.

The last time I saw the price, It was 1350 for two characters and they stayed for 30 minutes!

I am hoping the price does not go up any time soon!

Yep that's correct. Just got our budget for our VR in Feb and they are $1350 for 30 minutes.

I'm not sure, can Mickey and Minnie show up at the Swan? :confused3

They definately can - a S/D wedding is a wedding at WDW after all!!!
:goodvibes Everything but the MK shoot and (I think) Cinderella's coach.

Any ideas on a fun way to bring them in to surprise everyone? Do they get announced or just sort of show up? It sounds like they mostly dance and mingle with the guests, will it be weird to just do a dance after the ceremony if we're not doing cake?

How about just when the ceremony is finished and you are about to walk with your husband down the aisle, they show up and walk with you both arm and arm?

Just to clarify, disney doesn't allow characters to participate in ceremonies.

So, if a couple is having a wedding or VR with only themselves, and no reception, they wouldn't be able to have any characters attend?

I guess you could maybe do a small reception with just you and the characters, especially since DH and I never got a first dance..... but... that seems a bit odd to read after typing it out.

From reading the planning journals, it sounds like most people have Mickey & Minnie show up to help cut the cake, do a first dance, then pose for pictures. So you could still have them even if you're not having a reception. You could probably just spend the whole 30 mins having a mini photo shoot if you wanted.
