Fun Character Poses

Hi guys, I'm wondering if anyone has fun, creative poses they've done with characters? We are going in a few weeks and I'd love to do more than just stand and smile. Please post pics if you have any

We aren't very creative so most of our pics are of the stand and smile variety but sometimes the characters get creative for us! Hopefully this is the only photo I'll ever have of my son having his nose picked! Lol! Also, my daughter discovered that the characters all love to take selfies.

I just mimic whatever the character does. Like if they put the arm out, I do it, or if they do hands on hips, I'll do that.

Sometimes we just watch how they are posing with others and do something to match or fit in.

Sometimes we ask for a specific pose.

And sometimes we just stand there and smile.

If you know a gesture which the character does, e.g. King John sucks his thumb, mime that when you do the M&G. We started off meeting King John with curtsies, then went right into thumb sucking. After that, our photos were great! He took off doing all kinds of things with us and the PP CM caught most of it. We told the Country Bears how much we missed them in last year's Halloween party parade (they wore ballet tutus in Mickey's Costume Cavalcade), and they started doing ballet moves with us. Just do or say something from the character's movie/tv/ride/attraction context, then let them take the lead from there.

If I'm with Donald, it's a guarantee we're holding up a #1. It helps him feel better when people are always asking him where Mickey is.
