What's a fun card?

Its a "pay for a day, play all year" pass, without the extra considerations (free parking, discounts on food and merchandise, etc.) that come with the annual passes.

So you pay the regular gate price, but receive unlimited admission for the entire calendar year.

Oh, thanks! Since we'll only be down there one time between now and Dec 31st, it wouldn't pay for us to get one for this year. But we'll be down there again in April, plus at least another couple times next year. Do they always have these Fun Cards for just $92.00?

Yes they have been available for a few yrs now. Although in the past they will release next yrs fun card the yr before. So you may be able to get it in Dec and it be good for all of 2014. That is if they decide to promote it early again.

Have you thought about getting the Super Grover passes? They are usually on sale for Black Friday at 25% off.....they would be about $158 plus tax after the discount is applied, and they'll be good for the balance of 2013 plus all of 2014. And the added bonus with these vs. the Fun Cards is that they give you access to all the SW parks in FL (SW, AQ, BG and Adventure Island) and all the passmember benefits (free parking, a discount at DC, discounts on dining, etc.). You'd probably get some good mileage out of it if you are planning on going on multiple trips.

Also, I think they start offering the Fun Cards near the end of the year that are good for the balance of the current year plus the entire following calendar year, so keep watch on the website. You might just be able to buy the Fun Card before you go on your Christmas trip and be able to use it for 2014 too . SeaWorld San Antonio has already released their 2014 Fun Card + "Fall Free".

I go to WDW and Universal several times a year and have annual passes to both, but actually have only been to Sea World down there once a few years ago. If I can get a year long pass cheap enough though I may just have to check it out more. We were currently planning on buying one of those $50.00 weekday passes for the Dec trip.
