Fun and different things to do after the parks

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of fun things to do other than tour the parks? We are going for a few days and want some time to do other fun Disney-related things as well. Last year we did Mini Golf and that was fun! Something we can do on the night we arrive or after a day at the park?

Do you just mean on property? We enjoy touring the different resorts. Maybe plan a meal at one of them, or just do their counter service option, but take some time walking around.

Buy Steve Barrett's Hidden Mickey book and use it to search each location for the hidden Mickey's. We've gotten hours of fun out of that over several trips.

Do a "progressive dinner" along the monorail route or around the path connecting Boardwalk and Yacht and Beach club.

Go to the ESPN zone if you're a sports fan and watch a game while getting some food and drink.

If you don't own DVC, sign up for a tour. Even if you have no intention of buying, it is fun to do and they usually give you some perk for coming. We got gift cards and free ice cream when we did it a couple of years ago.

If it doesn't have to be Disney related.....

- Congo River (mini golf, feed the koi fish, feed the alligators)

- Outta Control Dinner Show (dinner + a show.....its fabulous and super affordable)

- Titanic Experience (on I-Drive)

There are many "touristy" places on 192 including mini-golf and go-carts. One place has a pool of small baby alligators that you can feed using hooks with pieces of meat on the ends! Old-Towne is fun and has a free car cruise night on saturday night if you like old cars.
