We just got back from a Disney cruise, but we did spend a couple days in the DTD area beforehand. Our pre-cruise dinner was at Fulton's. During my planning, I found very few reviews of the place so I wanted to write a quick one for anyone else looking.
I was very nervous before dinner because, as I said, I found very few reviews and the one that comes up here calls it Red Lobster style food.
When we arrived, I was impressed with both the exterior and interior theming. It felt like vacation.

Our party, 6 adults and DD3, were escorted to our table right away. It was tucked in a little book where we could see the water but still feel private. We were greeted promptly and the sommelier came to review the wine list. We chose two different bottles and both were delicious.
We started with bread service with a crab spread. Delicious. For dinner, I had two appetizers, mussels and crab cakes, DH had local FL grouper per our server's recommendation, and everyone else had crab legs. DD had pasta and steamed veggies. Her food came out very quickly but our meals were not far behind. I was so impressed with the crab cakes. There was very little filler the mussels were incredible and the broth was a treat to soak up with crusty bread. DH was thrilled with his fish and the small taste he gave me was great. The crab legs people ordered were a mix of King and Queen crab. No one in our party had tried queen crab before and we enjoyed trying and comparing. The meal lasted almost 2 hours and I was impressed that DD had fun the whole time and never fussed.
At the end of the meal, they brought everyone warm towels and had even cooled the one on top for DD. We were all too full for dessert.
We haven't ever been Disney vacation people, but I suspect that will change in the coming years based strictly on the service and experiences we had on this vacation. Because if this though, I can't comment on the value of Fulton's in terms of the dining plan etc. I can say that we had a great meal and really enjoyed the experience.
