We just got back from a Disney cruise, but we did spend a couple days in the DTD area beforehand. Our pre-cruise dinner was at Fulton's. During my planning, I found very few reviews of the place so I wanted to write a quick one for anyone else looking.

I was very nervous before dinner because, as I said, I found very few reviews and the one that comes up here calls it Red Lobster style food.

When we arrived, I was impressed with both the exterior and interior theming. It felt like vacation.

Our party, 6 adults and DD3, were escorted to our table right away. It was tucked in a little book where we could see the water but still feel private. We were greeted promptly and the sommelier came to review the wine list. We chose two different bottles and both were delicious.

We started with bread service with a crab spread. Delicious. For dinner, I had two appetizers, mussels and crab cakes, DH had local FL grouper per our server's recommendation, and everyone else had crab legs. DD had pasta and steamed veggies. Her food came out very quickly but our meals were not far behind. I was so impressed with the crab cakes. There was very little filler the mussels were incredible and the broth was a treat to soak up with crusty bread. DH was thrilled with his fish and the small taste he gave me was great. The crab legs people ordered were a mix of King and Queen crab. No one in our party had tried queen crab before and we enjoyed trying and comparing. The meal lasted almost 2 hours and I was impressed that DD had fun the whole time and never fussed.

At the end of the meal, they brought everyone warm towels and had even cooled the one on top for DD. We were all too full for dessert.

We haven't ever been Disney vacation people, but I suspect that will change in the coming years based strictly on the service and experiences we had on this vacation. Because if this though, I can't comment on the value of Fulton's in terms of the dining plan etc. I can say that we had a great meal and really enjoyed the experience.

Me and my family have eaten here three times. We have enjoyed each visit. The service is outstanding. The food is fresh and good. The price is a bit high. But, we have had good quality each visit and will likely return again.

Nice review! DH has wanted to try Fulton's for awhile now and we're finally going in Nov. I too searched for reviews and the few I found were mostly negative, so it's good to hear you enjoyed your meal and had good service. Since you can find the prices online the bill shouldn't surprise most people, but not everyone does that much research so I can understand that being an issue for some. Again, thanks for writing this :)

Glad you enjoyed!! I haven't seen many reviews either.

On the last night of our trip earlier this year, we found ourselves wandering around DTD looking for a place to eat dinner. Fulton's had the shortest wait so we ate there. It was a very pleasant surprise. We knew they served seafood but knew nothing else about the restaurant.

We were seated upstairs next to a window. The atmosphere was awesome. The service was excellent and food was great!! Being from south Louisiana, I don't usually like to eat seafood out of the state but I thoroughly enjoyed Fulton's. Even my picky DS3 said it was his fav meal because they put goldfish on top of his Mac n Cheese.

It's pricey but well worth it. I believe on the dining plan it's 2 credits.

Thanks for the review! DH and I went back and forth about whether to eat here later this month because of the reviews/lack of reviews, but finally decided to get an ADR. I am glad to hear your party enjoyed their food! I know DH will get the king crab, but I am leaning towards the grouper, so I am glad your DH loved it.

Thank you for the review. Last time I ate there was about 27 years ago and I had Mahi Mahi for the first time. I wanted to go back but the review were never very favorable and it was in desperate need of a re-do even 27 years ago. I may have to put it on my list for the next trip.

Glad you had a great meal there. We went in 2011 (see TR below) and it was great then too, we all enjoyed our meals and I'll say that their mashed potatoes are the best I have ever had. My MIL raved about the crab cakes too. Even my Non-seafood eating DH liked it there.
