Fulton's Crab House

I love Fulton's! The food is great, I love the atmosphere, service is great.
Overall A+++++++ IMO.:thumbsup2

The food is excellent! The wait times can get ponderous around 6-8 PM!

We try to get there (without ADR's) around 5:00 PM and usually wait about 30 mins.

You gotta love seafood though, my DD12was very disappointed with her choice of (I think) chicken last time, very bland. I've posted this before, my favorite is to sit at the bar, order a dozen oysters (or two!:thumbsup2 ) and a cold Bass Ale:drinking1

Fultons is good if you are doing shellfish....great crab claws, lobsters, etc...Fish filets, go somewhere else like Flying fish....overall it’s pricey...but i just can’t turn down those crab claws

DH- loves FCH...I hate it. Please only go there if you really like seafood(wholefish and shellfish), otherwise your selections seemed limited to me. Personally I thought they were very over priced, but it is a nice adult"ish" place (although we brought our 6yo children there 2 years ago), a change from the typicial Disney restaurants...the boat, the service, the menu. I can not talk to quality as our last visit was 2 years ago. Have fun if you decide to go.

Nothing but great experiences at Fulton's! DF loves the king crab claws and their milk chocolate creme brulee is to die for! :thumbsup2

We are also big fans of Fultons, Crab claws, crab cakes etc. They have also taken special requests. We celebrated a few anniversarys there and they gave us a huge slice of chocolate cake with raspberry sauce and a card from the staff. For for it!

Here's the ugly--the worst service anywhere in any restaurant in WDW.
From the greeter at the podium, down thru the servers and even the buss staff--total indifference. As tho they could really care less if you ever came back.

We love it and go every trip! :love: I love love love the crab claws and crab cakes.:love: My husband likes their steak and our young daughter is all about the crab too. They treat you very well there.

Is it the typical Disney.... turn the table over ASAP speed of service? Nope. It's a relaxed and calm service. I don't have an appetizer, salad and entree all sitting in front of me. I get to enjoy each at my own pace. I wouldn't book there if I were planning to do anything specific within the next 2 hours, but we always do it on an evening that we plan to be at DTD anyway. Enjoy a leisurely dinner and then some shopping! It's a nice break from the frenetic pace we keep in the parks. :)

Now, maybe it is because I've only eaten there once, and it is possible that I just got lucky. And yeah, we ate around 4:30 and the place was pretty empty at the time. But we had a wonderful experience there. Our waiter was one of the best I've had anywhere. Very attentive, but not in a nosy-checking-in-on-you-every-3-minutes kind of attentive. Very helpful with the menu and picking out a good wine to have with dinner. I will agree -- very expensive. For my DW and I on our honeymoon, our bill was well over $100 with tax and tip. But the food and service were both excellent.

I don't believe so. It used to be, but they have removed themselves as far as I know.

We've eated there twice. The first time DH and I went, by ourselves. We had drinks and appetizers---they were so fantastic we brought all the kids there 4 nights later. This time we had dinner. I don't know if it was because there were 8 of us or what---it was horrible!!!
Not ONE person liked their food. My kids are adults (17-30), they are NOT fussy eaters.....especially if Dad is paying. The fish tasted old and smelled fishy....the salads were OK. The drinks were weak. The service horrible. When DH sent his fish back....he never saw it again. The waiter took it away and said he'd replace it....but never did. He did come back with the check though....and charged us for the fish. When we asked to see the manager a young guy came and said he was the manager for the evening, we explained out problem....he could care less. He asked how much of the fish had DH eaten....DH told him 1 bite....he went to the kitchen(he said) and came back and said that the kitchen staff told him more than half the fish had been eaten and there fore we had to pay for it. We did pay. We left no tip and took the name of the "regular manager" We wrote him when we got home and we got back a form letter with a coupon for a discount next visit.
We go to DWD 2 or 3 times a year, and have since 1973. My family live in the central Orlando area, many work for Disney. We will never go back and we will not recommend FCH to anyone!
