another baby in disney question!!!

what type of carriage would you or have you used for a 7 month old in disney? my guy is 4 mo old now and on the small side (13 lbs, 5th %ile) but now he's got great head control and loves to sit up (with help of course). we go for long walks everyday but he's still in his car seat which clicks into a carriage.

every once in a while i put him in the full size one just because he likes to sit up and look out but he's very small for it.

at 7 months, any idea which type is best? we have a graco full size and a mclaren quest (still in box) and the car seat can click into the graco.

TIA for your help.:flower3:

If you don't mind taking the full-size, that would probably be the most comfortable for the baby - and you can recline it fully and put the shade down for naps. My ds was 6 months old his first trip and I used a stroller that was mid-size - it wasn't as big as our Graco, but wasn't an umbrella either. It had a tray, sunshade and small basket. It was fairly easy for the buses. I don't think I would take the baby carrier at that age and baby will probably like looking around at everything.

thank you! maybe our graco is more like a mid size as it sounds like what you had. he will probably be in the bjorn alot too as he is sooo nosy, even now :)

I think I would opt for the full size - he should be sitting up well by 7 mos, but will still need the recline for naps.

Personally, I'd take the Maclaren, esp. if you plan to use the carrier (I'd also invest in an Ergo or Beco instead of the Bjorn, personally though lol That way baby faces you & can snooze much more comfortably! Plus, it's easier to sit in on rides without taking baby out) We took DD at 7 months last year & she napped on my chest the most. When she was in the stroller, she was NOT napping. Plus doesn't the Quest have recline? It's not some cheapy umbrella stroller with no padding or recline ... it's a nice set of wheels! And way lighter & less bulky than the Graco (but I admit, I have a bias against Graco, I HATED the travel system stroller we had from them)

i have a moby as well and ds can face me in that. the only problem is that he doesn't like to face in! he wants to be out out out!!

since we go for walks all the time i'll probably try him out in both the graco and mclaren to see how he does. if he is comfy in the mclaren that'd be great b/c it's so much lighter!

The bigger stroller might be a better option, not only for his comfort, but so you have a place in the basket for your diaper bag and other must have baby items!

Just make sure it has a good sun shade. If it is a smaller one, buy an extension one, I think Kiddopotomous is one of thr brands. They run about $15 and have UV protection.

At that age we took DS in the Mac Quest. It has a good recline and a decent basket. it also has a good sunshade.

I'd defintely take the full size, especially for a 7 month old. My kiddos spent a lot of time in the stroller while they were under 2, and I think the full size would be the most comfortable for him and the easiest to sleep in.

I'm taking my little one when she is 7 months (she's 3 months now) and we plan on taking my fullsize Bumbleride Flyer stroller (which I LOVE). We took it this last March (when I was pregnant) for my 3 year old and it wasn't that much of a pain in the butt.
