Full size crib question

I know this thread is about cribs, but I might have a pack-n-play solution... Toy-R-Us/Babies-R-Us sells a quilted pack-n-play matress pad that you put on under the sheet. It's not very thick, but it was enough padding for DS to be comfortable on. He wouldn't use the pnp before the matress pad.

I think I may have seen those at BRU...although I don't think DS will sleep in the pnp because it it is so low to the ground. It always seems really weird to him. He used to sleep in pnp set up as a bassinet when he was really little so I don't think it's the mattress. Thanks though!

I am not cheap, either. However, why rent something that may be available at the resort for free?

We'll be at the Dolphin in August. I am now under the impression that reports show this resort has cribs. However, I find myself lurking, looking for any new thread referencing cribs to get confirmation.

My DS will be 16 months when we go. I fear the p-n-p won't work for him because he uses his less for the "pak" and more for the "play." We've established a routine where he plays inside his, with his Dsis 6 watching over him when I shower or cook dinner. If we put him down in it at night for bed, he'd crack-up and begin to play! Sleep would be the last thing on his mind.
Anyway...
