Full length mirrors at the Poly??

We have stayed at the Poly twice recently..once in Tokelau and once in Fiji. Our studio in Tokelau had a full length mirror and our standard room in Fiji (RM 1321) did not. Is that the norm for for the standard rooms or was it a fluke that our room didn't have one?

I'm only 5'3" so I had to stand on the ottoman all week in order to see below my waist when getting dressed ... If that is indeed the norm, Ill have to be a little more mindful when packing mix and match for our October trip!

Tokelau houses DVC timeshare properties, and Fiji houses regular hotel rooms. They are technically parts of separate resorts (Polynesian Villas & Bungalows vs. Polynesian Resort), and are therefore decorated differently.

The lack of a full length mirror was my daughter's only complaint about the Poly last week!! (Hawaii building) It annoyed the 22-year old to no end!

Yeah I am aware of the differences between DVC and the regular rooms lol. I just figured a full length mirror was pretty standard and thought it was odd that a deluxe resort wouldn't have them in their rooms. Or maybe it is the norm, the only other Deluxe we have stayed at has been AKL and I think they had them. Either way its not a big deal, I was just making sure it wasn't a fluke. Thanks for the reminder though!

Thanks for your reply! Lol yeah by the end of the week it got a bit old, but isn't enough for us to not stay there again! I think my husband was more annoyed with my standing on the ottoman..

No, I've stayed in almost every deluxe resort (not counting DVCs), and haven't noticed any full-length mirrors. The "deluxe" designation at Disney isn't much about luxury- people are often surprised that they lack some amenities that would be expected in a typical luxury hotel (robes, dvd player or good selection of tv channels, Keurig machine, larger room, softer bed, etc.) Their price point is more about location, theming, pools, and at least being more comfortable than the Disney mods & values.

I stayed at the Poly Villa and really liked their spacious bathrooms, too. I agree, it's nice to see your whole self when getting ready.
