Planning on 1 day (probably Dec. 18) to go to Universal Studios only. The park hours for the day are 9am-8pm. Do you think we will need the whole day or will it take less time than that. Planning on doing most rides/attractions and maybe one show. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

I haven't been yet since they opened Diagon Alley, so can't say what that would do to your time line, however, apart from that I would say yes, you should be able to do most of the attractions/rides and maybe 1 show with 1 day. Of course a 1 park pass means you can't ride the Hogwart's Express train, as that attraction requires a park to park pass. And Gringott's may or may not be short enough wait to allow that one in the mix.
