Hi me and my boyfriend are off to Disney to celebrate our five yet anniversary together on the 12th. Although I have been to Disney like 30 times now, I have never used the half board option. We have opted to do the new full board option and although I have all my lunches decided I have one evening meal left to pick. Although we are on the plus plan, my bf wants to eat at la grange in billy bobs as this is his absolute favourite! I understand you can use the voucher for face value and it will be deducted on your bill, but we were planning to have a couple of alcoholic drinks with the meal but I'm sure I read somewhere the vouchers cannot be used as payment for alcohol? Is this true can anyone clear it up? That would be a great help! My second question is does anyone know if. You can use the lunch (park buffet) voucher for dinner? And use your dinner voucher for lunch? Thanks! P.s I'm talking about a different buffet as I know the lunch voucher is only for buffets within the parks. Many thanks!

You can use your dinner vouchers for lunch and your lunch vouchers for dinner but they will still only be valid in the same restaurants.

The brochure also says that 'any voucher can be used at any time for its monetary value at any restauarant in the resort' I assume this means that if you didn't want to use your lunch voucher for a buffet in the park you could use it elsewhere at its face value.

I know the half board vouchers only entitle you to a soft drink if you are using them for full payment but I'm not sure if you can use them towards the cost of alcohol if you are using them at face value. Hopefully somebody else will know the answer.

Hi Kaydepp :welcome: to the Disneyland Paris Trip Planning & Community Board.

Hoping you'll have lots of fun on here    please join in with any thread or if you have any questions please start a new one of your own.

If you haven't had a look yet, the DLP DISboard posting rules are here and the DIS posting guidelines can be found here. :)

I'm quite new with the voucher lark having never used them before but from what I understand if you eat off the set menu or at a buffet that's included in your plan you just hand over the voucher as payment for your meal (and one soft drink) and the face value of the voucher only comes into it if you eat at a 'higher plan' restaurant or not off the set menu in which case the bill for food alone without any alcoholic drinks is more than likely going to be more than the face value.

Now please take into account that I've already said I'm no expert on vouchers so hope someone else will be able to either confirm or dispute this. :)

We used the plus vouchers at face value for Inventions (lunch) and we ordered a bottle of wine and it was only 10 euro bill at the end.. :cool1:

Thinking about it.. we also used them face value in the standard restaurant agrabah and ordered a carafe of wine but she charged me full price for it, even though the vouchers at face value would have almost covered it.

Sorry that isn't very helpful - I think from my experience it depends on the restaurant/person you get.. The server I had in Agrabah was really really rude.

ahh thank you. Finally decided what we're doing!

Mon: Lunch @cafe Mickey (using one plus dinner voucher for face value)
Dinner @ La Grange (using two dinner vouchers for face value. This is where the alcohol Q came in, the buffet is 28.99, voucher is 31.00)

Tues: Lunch @ Plaza Gardens (two lunch vouchers)
Dinner @ Annettes (Going to use one dinner voucher for face value, ordering two of the 17.80 set menus)

Weds: Lunch @ Cafe Agrabah (two lunch vouchers)
Dinner @ Blue Lagoon (two dinner vouchers)

Thurs: Lunch @ Restaurant des Stars (two lunch vouchers)

So relived to finally work out what we are doing! Just hope will get to see some characters at cafe mickey, at least for a little bit, eurostar arives at 2, so we're rushing to HNY to put our cases in the storage, then we'll go back to check in

It looks like you have a great plan there. :goodvibes
