Fuji FinePix Digital Camera (A345)

My brother bought a Fuji FinePix A345 digital camera recently and has been e-mailing me some pictures he's taken. The camera seems to take nice pictures.

I am in the market for a digital camera myself and was considering a Fuji digital camera too. I don't want to spend a ton of money (looking at $150-$250). What do you think of Fuji digital cameras? Is there another brand/model that would be better?

I am total novice when it comes to digital cameras. Pixels? MegaPixels? So much to learn!

Around $250 you may be able to find specials on Canon S2 IS or Canon A610.

If you don't have the budget, I strongly suggest A345, but if you do have the budget, stay away from that camera because the exposure seems to be hit and miss. This problem occurs only indoors.
