We're booked on a cruise soon on points and just got a message that the fuel surcharge will be refunded as a stateroom credit...is that possible when we book with points? Nice surprise if it is....
When we sailed on our Med cruise last month they refunded the amount to our credit card since we paid cash for our cruise. It makes since they would give you a stateroom credit on a points booking. Our refund was somewhere around $27 for the four of us.
I was wondering about this also. A few people on our cruise meet thread have said that they're getting a refund, and I thought that since we booked on points we might be out of luck.
Here's hoping that we hear something from DCL soon, too.

The Disney Cruise Line website informed us that we are receiving a refundable onboard credit for the amount of the fuel surcharge paid for our two staterooms (booked with DVC points). Good news!
We just got off a 5-day cruise using points. We were refunded our fuel charge ($40 per adult), even for the kiddos ($15 each), and had credit on our stateroom.
Hmm - so it looks like it's about $8 per day per person...interesting. We're on a 12 night cruise so that would be a very nice credit for each of us. Crossing our fingers.
