OK I'm headed up for 5 full days in January or Feb 14. My first day will be a partial day, and I might end up at Downtown Disney. My first full day will be at the Magic Kingdom.

On one of those days I want to find Great fudge. Preferably Maple Walnut flavor but any flavor will be fine. Maple walnut is my favorite fudge of all time, so I will go out of my way to get it.

On long trips I have a bad habit of buying Home-Made Fudge and having a piece or two in the morning and at night. Its for medicinal purposes. yeah.

So where can I find the really good stuff? (and have you noticed Maple Walnut)
Literally, this will be the first place I go, and have it delivered to my room.

I cannot imagine the happiest place on earth not having fudge, but be brutal and break it to me if it is not there.

When you enter the Magic Kingdom there is a candy shop right at the top of Town Square (on the right). They sell in-store made fudge. They actually make it right in the store onstage so you can see it being made. And they have many flavors/varieties.

The Main Street Confectionery at MK has wonderful fudge among its many amazing treats.

(As I recall, there is often an opportunity to sample said fudge too... at least there was the last time I was there (2012) ;) )

Ah Ha! At last! Thank you! Right as I enter, I can hit the store and have a pound sent to my room!

Have you guys and gals tried the fudge?

I know that normally Disney will not ship any food items. I don't know if this applies to Resort shipments, gate shipments, or specifically off-property.

Also, shipping to your Resort will normally be next-day delivery, not same-day.

Your best bet would be see if they will send it to Package Pick-up which is at the Gate and it will be waiting for you to pick-up as you leave fore the day.

Curses! Foiled again! OK, I can deal with Package pickup. Wah.

Where are you staying? If you're at any of the Epcot resorts (Boardwalk/Swan/Beach Club/Dolphin/Yacht Club) check out the candy store on the Boardwalk. I check in, leave my stuff in the room or with Bell Services as needed, and get a soda and piece of maple fudge to start my stay. :thumbsup2

No. I'm going CHEAP. Disney All Star. I'm just going to sleep there. I'm probably going to spend a day just exploring the hotels...so the boardwalk may be a reality, as I've never been there (nor have I been to Disney Downtown)

So are all the candy stores the same?

I arrived at the Boardwalk yesterday. No maple fudge at the candy store on the Boardwalk! Ack! (Un)fortunately, my room wasn't ready, so I went to MK and bought six pieces (33% off discount, folks, in addition to the 10% off for DVC :thumbsup2 )

I got the very distinct impression that they are all the same company. I did not ask in those exact words, but the Boardwalk store said that they hadn't had any maple fudge for 'a few weeks' and they didn't know why, but I could try the Magic Kingdom or Downtown Disney as those places had more of a selection.

I really thought that they used to have plain maple fudge as well as some with nuts; at least at MK the only option they had was the maple nut fudge. Which is quite fine with me, just kind of surprising.

Thank you. I was rather worried. MK for sure has some.
