FTP upgrade?

Has anyone done the Fairy Tale Package and then requested an upgrade at check in? Curious what people were offered.
Am willing to pay extra for upgrade, but have understood that people often get a cheaper per night right when asking at check in versus "reserving" it in the first place.

The Fairytale Package is for check in dates of 7/4 - 10/30, so we will have to wait and see.
