We are experiencing the Ft Wilderness Cabins this Jan for th every first time.

Never been to Ft Wilderness excpet for Hoop-De-Doo, any suggestions?

I am traveling with family but main concern is my Mom, she is 80 and has bad knees. Would love to know if I should ask for a cabin in any specific area.

I would definitely suggest getting a golf cart. Call ahead and reserve.

They also have HA cabins. These are normally located at the front of the loops.

Call ahead and talk to the desk at the resort. There is a loop that is fairly close to the bus, we cut through easily with a slow party. They are very good about requests especially if you explain and they have the availibility. I would probably go ahead and reserve the golf cart tho', would be great backup!

Make sure to ask if you can have one of the handicapped cabins that is closest to the bus stop. I just returned from FW last night and even though we had two handicapped cabins it was still a walk from the bus stop. Our group was too big to take advantage of the golf carts.

thanks guys.
After reading up on this resort it sounds really spread out, so took your suggestions asked for HA and reserved golf cart.
