We are sailing on the Magic next month and have a cabana. We are sailing with our good friends. All my previous sailing with a cabana I was able to add my friends to it. (linked reservations) This cruise it says it's full? (there is only 6 of us total) I've called 3 times to DCL first 2 said they had no idea why, the last one said they changed the ability to add others to your cabana and that you now have to do it onboard and wait in line at shore excursion desk. Why? I waste time in line, then have to have someone help me when previously I could just click a box online and be done. Has this recently happened to anyone else???

No, this hasn't happened to me.

I have the same issue, but not as upset about it. I can add everyone in my stateroom, but no one in any addition rooms.

I was told to go to guest services (not port adventures).

I chalk it up to DCL having quite a poor website.

I'm not sure why they would have changed this, especially since it will require more time on their end to fix (even just 1 booking has wasted the time of the CM answering the phone plus the CM at guest services). I assume it is just a website issue that they have not yet resolved.

This happened to us in March - it would only let me add myself to the cabana and no one else in either of the two cabins we were traveling with. I called and got the same "take care of it onboard" response. Took a 5 min stop at guest services to sort out, so not a huge deal, you don't have to do it the first day necessarily so it's easy enough to swing by later in the cruise when there's no lines.

Yep that is what the website told me. I can add the three of us from my room and 3/4 of the ones from our linked reservation. The DCL agent told us that we have to add any extra (over 6) people once onboard. I'm guessing 'handle it once onboard' is their default response...
