Very frustrating wish I had this into when I was doing the split stay... yes we can activate out tickets when we get there but not till then can we access FP+

I'm confused. I bought park tickets a week before our stay and was able to book FP+ in advance. They were linked in MDE and we got all the FP+ we wanted.
I don't know why you wouldn't be able to get FP+ at least 30 days out, since you have park tickets.

Peter Pan, Splash, and BTMRR. Booked a 4th one in the park for Buzz. Granted, these aren't top tier attractions. But for a Saturday in August I think we did pretty good!

Because package tickets don't work the same as individually purchased tickets for whatever reason. It's just the way MDE is set up. For maximum flexibility, tickets should be purchased separately and not part of a package, but most people don't realize the limitations on package tickets until it's too late.

Those aren't particularly difficult a week before, a few others are harder. Glad you got what you wanted!

so update is :

I went online at 12:00am Oct 12 Florida time to find that my booking window had opened not the Dec 11 -14 (Room only) Those dates were locked out.
But our package dates were open the Dec 15-21...... I found that to be odd but exciting all the same I was able to get Mine Train and Elsa and Anna bookings without issue. So now fingers crossed the the first 3 days of the trip the booking day of will not be too bad and we can get the ones we want for that too.

It's the standard for Split Stays. Split Stay > Split Stay keeps the FP booking window open from check-in day of Stay #1 through check-out day of Stay #2.

Clearly my coffee hasn't kicked in yet. I thought the OP had a room only reservation for the first portion of their stay, and they bought tickets outside of a package.

I do have a room only Dec 11-14
then the Free Dinning Package (Room, Park Tickets, Dinning) Dec 15-21

So the Room only can't book FP yet
But the package dates opened up this morning
