 What do I have to do to get a pin code, post card code, email code, newspaper code, etc...

I belong to evey Disney thing there is, we go about once every 18 months, they have my email, I have a Disney Visa, etc....

I have NEVER gotten an incentive or code or discount or pretty little card.

NOTHING.

Sorry, I just needed to vent to people who might understand.

Maybe a general public code will come out at a time that I can actually USE it!!!

"we go about once every 18 months"

that's the problem... Disney knows you'll come with or without without a code- from what I've gathered- they tend to send them to non-regulars. Take a year off maybe?!

That's not necessarily true. That's simply what we assume. DH and I go every year, and yet I receive 3-5 pin codes in my old email per year. DH has never received one. My current email has received a couple, the most recent being last fall. Everyone here has all kinds of theories as to how pin codes are distributed...and it might be fair to say that every theory is correct...because there are people who could say "well I haven't been in x amount of years and I never got one" or people who say "I go 3 times a year and I always get codes" or vice versa. There's no rhyme or reason to it.

Anyway, I know it's frustrating...unfortunately there's not much you can do. Just hope and pray that one day, you receive one. And make sure that you always check any junk/spam folders in case anything accidentally gets sent there.

This is simply not true, although it has been posted as speculation several time recently - I have visited WDW at over 20 times in the past 12 years and yet I get email and post card offers regularly - there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.

Personally i think they decide who gets them via Ouija board! WE got one once about 6 months after our first stay, after that never again!

anyone know if DVC members get shut-out?:confused3

we've NEVER gotten one, nevermind that we stay at the resorts (usually deluxe, sometimes value) at least once visit/year.:rolleyes1

guess the mouse figures he owns me, lock stock & rate.;)

no substance to the DVC theory either. We've probably had 4-5 in the past few years. No as many as others but enough to sneak in extra trips when we are out of points:rotfl:

I get Disney emails all the time, but I delete them without reading them. I wasn't sure we could afford to go this year, so I didn't see the need to read the emails. But, now we can afford to go. So, I called Disney to ask if there is a PIN associated with my name. I was told to write to Disney Destinations Marketing and request a PIN. I was told just tonight that if you request one, they will send it to you. I wrote my letter, and I plan to mail it tomorrow. I'll let you know if I ever get a PIN out of it.

you DON'T want to know what I have done in the past with the email/codes do you?

Let's just say I forward ALL Disney email to dh as I have been d/carding the emails I have been getting.

I just happened to pass this latest one on to him.

He told me how folks would :scared1: for them.

I am in EVERY Disney database, including former CM, and I have only seen one discount via US mail.

If there is a way to get these offers, I would be interested as well.

It does seem that NJ NY PA metro area does not see as many offers as other areas. Perhaps it is due to proximity, or median income, or some other demographic.

I concur with a previous post- it would be nice of WDW would reward return guests with a small incentive.

I talked to a CM the other day about 'how to get a code'. He said they really do not know, but they are trying to bring people in that do not come often. My dsil gets a postcard from time to time, here at my house, but not me. I cannot use his postcard. I have called and asked. He would have to come for me to use it.
