Hi everyone, on Thu. evening I sent for a quote from an online TA who I noticed had group space advertised on their web site for the Dec. 17, 2005 Western 7 night cruise. She sent the quote back at 12 midnight Fri. morning with a great price for 2 Cat. 10 cabins. I emailed her back the next morning asking a question about it saying we were really interested and she emails back at 10:00 saying the quote is no longer available and the price is now $2000 more for the same 2 rooms. It seems that there was only 1 room at the group rate available. Now I know that DU puts a hold on the rooms and I've been reading today on the boards that other travel agents will put a hold on the space to allow people to think about the quote. Is that not common practice? Like I said, I am just so frustrated!!! Anyway, thanks for listening!
