Frustrated with online quote from TA

Hi everyone, on Thu. evening I sent for a quote from an online TA who I noticed had group space advertised on their web site for the Dec. 17, 2005 Western 7 night cruise. She sent the quote back at 12 midnight Fri. morning with a great price for 2 Cat. 10 cabins. I emailed her back the next morning asking a question about it saying we were really interested and she emails back at 10:00 saying the quote is no longer available and the price is now $2000 more for the same 2 rooms. It seems that there was only 1 room at the group rate available. Now I know that DU puts a hold on the rooms and I've been reading today on the boards that other travel agents will put a hold on the space to allow people to think about the quote. Is that not common practice? Like I said, I am just so frustrated!!! Anyway, thanks for listening!

that isnt very nice of that TA, yes DU gave me a quote and held my room for a while so I could decide.
 
I didn't have a chance to ask her for the hold, it was within 2 hours that the price jumped. I am just so disappointed, I really want to go on a cruise. I guess I will book with DU next time!

Prices can always change until the deposit is received by the cruiseline. If you see what seems to be the best deal, jump on it.
