Frustrated with ADR system

We are going to WDW from 1/30 until 2/6. DH and I woke up at 6:30 this morning so we could call for our 180 (plus 10) reservations for CRT and CM's. We get through exactly at 7am and because of a system upgrade, nothing in Feb was able to be booked. We were able to get CM's on 1/31, but for my DD's birthday breakfast at CRT's on 2/5, they couldn't get the computer working. We called to get two different CM's and everyone said that the computers were not yet available for February and to try back tomorrow. Of course we didn't trust that So we called every 15 mins from 7 until 9am. Still nothing. Called back around 10:30 and there were only 2 times left for breakfast on the 5th. We ended up getting a 9:05 breakfast, which isn't TOO bad, but I really wanted the 8am slot to get pics of the castle w/ no one around I'm just so frustrated with this whole system upgrade. I can't book anything until Oct. and the stuff I am able to book I couldn't get through on either

Just wanted to vent. Anyone else have any problems this morning?? I am going to try at the exact 180 day mark from 2/5 and see if anything opens up earlier. I guess I'm lucky at this point that we called back and got in

But what is this the deal with the new system? I thought you now couldn't book anything until 90 days out. Is that not completely true?

I feel your pain! I can't believe I have to wait to book all my ADRs for our Feb trip too. We are leaving on the 6th-15th and I can't book anything until OCT.!!! I have this horrible feeling I'll be in the same boat as you.

The part that really ticks me off is that this was suppose to be our "FOOD" trip ~ We were splurging on the Deluxe plan and now I'm worried I won't be able to get any of the places we want to go!

You can't book anything EXCEPT for Chef Mickey's, Cinderella's castle, and Victoria and Albert's. HTH!

Tell me about it. I can just see this free for all on October 24th with everyone scrambling to make reservations. I actually have DH taking off work that day so he can do the reservations and I can handle the kids at home. I think it may literally take all day. I don't blame you for being worried, especially on the Dx Dining Plan. I hope you get everything you want! I tried talking DH into the Dx..So far he's not biting.

I guess our only hope it that its not a super busy time of year and not everyone is on DIS and knows about all the strategy needed with these ADRS.

I might be taking off that day too is I need to.

I would just go to the park early, and they should let you in since you have an ADR. Maybe you'll get lucky, and even be seated early.

This is killing me too. I want to make my ADRs!!!!! I'll be traveling down in early March and I'll turn 50 in WDW. I want to celebrate with a nice special dinner but with everyone on the phones on 10/24 it'll be a madhouse trying to get something.

Isn't the new system not going to allow double booking for ADRs? Thought I read that somewhere?

I did hear that too, but she offered so I said OK. I suppose it will be whomever can get through first. I really don't need double bookings, only the ones I want for each day.
