Frozen then Test Track or Test Track then Frozen?

Ok, so we're driving from a friend's in Tampa in the morning on 2/5, checking in and returning a car at the car care center and headed to Epcot first thing. We may or may not get there at rope drop, but at close to opening as possible. I have a fastpass for Soarin at 10:45.

Should I go directly to Frozen and then to TT or should I hit TT and then head to Frozen? The goal of course is to minimize lines.

I expect very low crowds that day - every fastpass and dining reservation I've tried to get has been available :). Soarin is our favorite, so I want to keep that FP.

Thoughts?? Thanks!!

I'm assuming Frozen then TT, that's my plan for an EMH morning (will be there early). I'm sure the experts will weigh in!

I love Frozen (made fun of it by my friends lol) and the ride is fantastic. But test track to me is a lot more thrilling and I would rather do a ride that is a little less thrilling (there are some parts in frozen) then go for the fast pace thrilling ride. Both are great rides though!

You don't have any real great options. You'll have a lengthy wait (probably) either way. You could try a couple strategies.

1. Frozen straight away, then standby for Test Track
2. Frozen straight away, single rider for Test Track
3. Frozen straight away, other stuff until Soarin, use Soarin right away when the FP opens and then search for a TT FP on the app
4. If no desire to see Illuminations, Test Track when you arrive then get into Frozen's line right when the park closes. The FP line will clear out pretty quick and you won't waste park time waiting for Frozen since everything will be closed.

I'd do Frozen right away, then single rider Test Track, then use your Soarin' FP. I'm not sure you'll have enough time to do regular standby on TT and still make your Soarin' FP. Remember in the TT single rider line, you get to stay together right up to the time you board a car and even then, there's a decent chance you'll be assigned to the same car, one behind another.

If you don't have a fastpass for Frozen... but you want to ride Frozen, it should always be the first thing you do after the park opens their gates, imo.

I went in late Sept and Mid December. Both times I didn't rope drop, but arrived a good 10 minutes before the park opened. They were already admitting guests when I arrived both days, but the rides hadn't opened. I didn't wait longer than 20 minutes for Frozen on either day. (I actually timed the Dec visit, and it was 18 minutes). It's honestly not that bad so long as you do it right when the park opens. Even if the sign SAYS 45-75 minutes... it's about 20 minutes. They're just preemptively putting the 45-75 up because they know it will back up soon.

BUT... YMMV depending on how late you arrive. I got there promptly. Some families have more dilly in their dally than they realize. It only gets worse from there as the day moves on and more people show up, so if you're not there when it opens, don't expect anything I've said to stay true for too long. I've never ridden it after 9:30 am.

When you arrive at 9 am, the line may LOOK intimidating (it was down the street to Mexico in December) but since they don't let people into the building until the doors open... it moves quickly once people begin being admitted. The street line empties into the interior queue, and the interior queue isn't terribly long (and like most newer rides, it's very visually interesting, so the time passes quickly as you take it all in).

Definitely agree with everyone to go to Arendelle first and then Test Track-you'll have until Noon to make your Flight so you can Standby or Single Rider TT.:)

Even though Soarin is your favorite, I would get a FP for Frozen instead. Ride TT in single rider line. Soarin' should move the quickest out of those three.

And I would get the Frozen FP for afternoon or later so you can do Soarin' and TT in the morning hours.

if you do not get there at RD I would look at the APP for the wait time and see what line is longest then go to that one (right now at 9:30 FEA is 60 TT is 85) and remember TT has single line ride

We were just there Dec 10-17. We went to Epcot on the 11th. We got there early and they opened the gates at 8:30 for a posted 9am opening. We had a FP+ for Frozen later in the evening. We went right to TT and then Soarin. We rode TT, Soarin and living with the land boat before 9:05. It worked best for us.

When I was there in September, I was told by a cast member that there are no FEA fastpasses given out between 9am and 11am...so if you don't have a fastpass then that is the best time to go because the line moves quicker since there are no fastpass people moving into the line. Does anyone else know if that is true? If it is indeed true, then I would def recommend doing FEA first thing/before 11am.

I believe you can get FP starting when it opens at 9 am I think it is too popular for them not to offer FP fro the first 2 hours
