Is the Frozen Sing-a-Long linked to any other FP's? Can I grab a FP to meet A & E and a FP for the sing-a-long together? Is there a choice on your show time with FP or do they just go in order of the shows for the day? When do they open the doors to start seating for the next show and how early do you need to arrive to the show with or without FP?

I don't know if some show times are busier than others...but we showed up 5 minutes before showtime last Friday at 4:00 and walked right in with no FP's. The theater was about 75% full with plenty of open seats.
Now that it's been around awhile and there are so many showings each day, FP's may not really be necessary any more. As to your original question, I don't believe they are connected to other FP's in the parks.

I don't think they're doing FPs for the sing-a-long at all any more. But, when they were, they were disconnected, as are the ones for the A&E meet and greet.

The sing along in DCA was connected. The show in DL was disconnected.

So if it's not really necessary to get a fast pass for the show, how early should we line up in the stand by line?

Nowadays, unless you're going on a very busy day like a holiday weekend, you can walk up 5 minutes before the show and still get a seat. My son and I go once a month. The last 3 times (all in the summer peak period at the first showing of the day) only half the room was full.

It is connected to the rides. But the meet and greet is not connected. So you could get both at one time. As others said though, it's not so necessary to get a FP for the sing-a-long any longer. However, if you do get a FP you get in the building before the standby line. So if you really want to sit in a certain place, the FP could help. We had FP for the show in May. Stood in a crowded lobby, they wouldn't let us sit any longer because there were so many people, then they let us in and once everyone had sat down there were still empty chairs and they waited a few minutes while more people filed in. The theater is HUGE and holds a ton of people. It was weird seeing so many people there as the Muppets was only sparsely attended.
