has anyone had this? i've been diagnosed and wonder what anyone else's experiences are with this. it seems to be something you deal with with physical therapy and waiting it out?

Hi I'm a RN I work with Orthopedic surgeons and have seen people with frozen shoulder or adhesive capsulitis. Most are able to be treated with physical therapy if this does not take care of it the will sometimes do a shoulder manipulation, which the Docs I work with, have the patient put under anesthesia and the shoulder is manipulated to break up the adhesions, in rare cases they will do a shoulder arthroscopy. I hope this helps you and keep up with the PT!!! :)

i just started pt. it hurts! but i know it works because it helped my dad. thanks for the encouragement.
