Frozen Ride

50ish male. Liked the movie when it came out.

Didn't like the ride one bit.

Eh, it's just okay. I liked it, not loved it. It's not something I would do without a fastness though.

I'm glad that we got to experience it, but I honestly did not like it. It was all over the place and a "one and done" for not only me but my 8 (then 7) year old daughter as well.

The ride I like,it's not the most amazing thing ever but I like it,however the one thing I hate is how hard it is to get on or find a FP for.The old Maelstrom ride had lines that usually ranged from a walk on to a 20-25 minute wait so I could more frequently visit the menacing polar bear and trolls than I can see Olaf in the new ride. Its a ride built with capacity for a Norway attraction in 1988,when you replace it with what people deem an E-Ticket worthy attraction you see that it just doesn't have the capacity for that.

Senior citizens here and we both think it is cute. We've ridden it with FPs 3 times.

I really enjoy it and try to make a point of doing it at least once per trip. That said, try to secure a FastPass for it, because how much you enjoy the ride can definitely be affected by how long you wait for it. FP or anything under 40 minutes, you'll probably feel like it was worth it (assuming you like "Frozen" to begin with). 40-80 minutes, you'll likely go "that was fine, but probably not worth the wait". 80+ minutes (which happens way more often than you'd expect for a ride like this), you'll probably end up thinking the whole thing was a waste of time.

Glad we did it but I honestly don't understand why it draws the lengthy standby lines it gets. No way would I wait 60-75 minutes (or more) for it. Granted, I wouldn't wait that long for any ride (20-30 min is my max).

My DS likes the movie well enough and he liked the ride but he wasn't clamoring to do it again, which is good because it means we can use tier 1 FP at Epcot for TT or Soarin'.

It's good, and for kids it's probably great. Would only ride with FP+. No FP, no go.

It's a "meh" for us. We rode it with FP the 2nd day it was open (purposely avoided Epcot on opening day) so there were lots of breakdowns and delays (and ridiculously long standby lines). We're glad we got to ride it that week, but we were underwhelmed. We'll try to get a FP the next time we go, but if we can't, no big deal. We wouldn't wait more than about 20-25 minutes in the standby line. I think we had spent so much time anticipating this ride opening and were sooooo excited when we found out it was opening the week we were there that we set our expectations way too high.

It exceeded my (somewhat high) expectations. A classic Disney dark ride done in a way only Disney can do. Yes, a Pirates of the Caribbean type immersion would have been even better - but overall, I really enjoyed it and it had some wow moments. I rode it 2x in a row, both times with a giant smile :)

I should add that I loved Frozen and while over-saturated, I never got Frozened out.

We did standby once (45 minutes) and FP once. I enjoyed it well enough. Now that I've done it, I wouldn't wait more than 30-40 minutes to do it again and I would not use a tier 1 FP to do it again. I thought it was pretty well done, but definitely not a 60 minute wait type of ride.

That said, my 6 month old LOVED it the first time we did it. She's never watched TV or movies at all, but she was completely fixated on Olaf. And she scammed us into buying her a stuffed Olaf in the gift shop, she also went nuts with joy for the Olaf meet at HS later that trip. She did it again at 12 months, and wasn't as fixated, but still seemed to like it.

Yes, we really liked it. However, with stand by lines as long as they have been, we would only ride it with FP. It's my second favorite ride in Epcot. Soarin' is my first.

Hmm let me think...... Gran Fiesta boat ride: 10 min wait, longer ride, more to see. Frozen: 45 minutes at least or giving up Soarin/TT FP ( bekieve same tier), short ride, best part the short backwards part, nothing special anitronics. Unless you are an obsessed frozen fan the ride is nice but in my opinion not worth the ridulous wait times. My kids DD/DS are not rushed to repeat.
