There are other threads with info on this. May 1st is expected opening date.

My famliy and I are looking forward to the new Frozen ride, but I think it's a shame that Epcot only ever replaces existing rides instead of building new ones, they certainly have plenty of space for new attractions

It's true I have never seen that ride over a 5 min wait until it was announced it was closing

The same was true of Mr. Toad and Snow White's Scary Adventure... it's almost like they only cater to want the majority of their guests want to see and not to the hand full of people who spend all their time complaining on the internet... crazy way to run a business huh?

We ate in Norway last night andheard a cm say it would be open in June, not sure if she is accurate, but thought I would pass the info along

the majority of people who are against frozen in Norway including myself was not because maelstrom had to go. Many wanted to see a maelstrom update but not a frozen takeover. This also isn't like the three caballeros in Mexico at least their storyline takes you through Mexico. The frozen ride is all about the movie and not about the country of Norway.

i do wish they would have upstate it... also wish They would have made frozen in hollywood.

Fantasyland is the best place for princesses. DHS is more suited for what they are doing with Star Wars and toy story.

the is true i just think their is so many people already in magic that if e add frozen to it it will get WAY to busy. at least now people will go to epcot and leave magic one for a day lol

MK is already crazy busy I don't think adding frozen is going change that if anything it will decrease lines at other MK rides. Frozen will have crazy lines for the first couple years but it will likely die down after that.
