Frozen pipes

This morning the water was working fine, I did 2 sink fulls of dishes and started laundry. That was probably around 10am ish. Woke the husband up around noon and he went to take a shower at 1pmish. No water.

Checked every faucet, no water.

So we opened all the sink cabinets and have turned on every knob a bit and now its 4pm and still nothing.

Did get a dribble out of one bathtub and could hear gurgling in the shower.

Husband did go out and check the crawlspace covers and one was half way down (It is very windy here) He put it back up.

We still have no water. We are going to have to buy that heat tape for pipes, I know. Any idea on how long it could take for our water to come back? lol

Its around 10 degrees but with the wind its closer to -15

Forgot to add, husband turned up the heat in the house and has the oven on too! I'm very warm

Our house has one spot, where it freezes, therefore causing the entire house to have no water. I happen to know where this one spot is.

I take a light, and shine it on that spot. I also take a fan, and blow it on that spot. It takes anywhere from 15 minutes to a couple hours.

I now have that one spot insulated, which helps a bit, but not perfect.

You know, I think that may be our problem too, I think it freezes right near the overflow tank (I think thats what its called) I have no clue what to look for if I went down there. We have to go outside to get to the crawlspace and I think I'm too big to go through the opening as it is. (its a bit smaller then it should be)
