Frozen Illuminations Party-single?

This will be my first Illuminations dessert party. I am going to a conference and was thinking about attending the Frozen Desert Party as a single.

Has anyone done this or sat with a single at their table. Will I be uncomfortable? I have traveled through WDW single for conferences and do enjoy it, just not a Dessert Party.

I do have a lot of experience with this situation. You may be seated with up to four other guests. If you're ok with it and the other party is ok with it, it works out fine. I've seen it go both ways though.

Tonight's party had good examples of when it works out and when it doesn't. Two gentlemen arrived first and were seated. Three other guests arrived afterwards and were seated at the same table. All I heard during the entire party, as I was only feet away the entire time, was good conversation and laughter. However, right next them was a table with two parties and it was mostly crickets.

If it's uncomfortable and if there are spare tables, they will move you. Worst case scenario if there are no spare tables with chairs, is that you can move to one of the three high boy tables that are setup just for that purpose, but there are no chairs at those tables.
