Frozen fp distribution times

We’ve always done FEA at rope drop since they didn’t give out fp for that til 11. Now I’ve read that they give out fp from park opening- can anyone confirm that? I can’t remember if we even rode FEA during our Feb trip this year

I just checked MDE for a random date in the future (I have an AP) and it is showing available at 9:45 so I'm guessing yes, they are available when the park opens.

From the FP FAQ, which is updated regularly:

- FPs can be scheduled only during regular park hours, including the first and last hours of operation. All FP attractions can be scheduled for any part of the regular day.

That last sentence used to say “all but FEA”.
