I have been reading on a few sites that this ride my open May 1st. I hope so we are there the first week in May. Any thoughts????

There has been no official date announced yet but it was slated for "Summer 2016." When in that means is anybody's guess, though if it were going to be May I would think they would say "Spring 2016."

"The Disney Blog" is not affiliated with Disney so that is just their opinion, not Disney information.

Disney says "Summer" and bloggers have dates all over the place.

There was a photo posted that was a screenshot which could have been off a Disney HUB location which states May 27th.
Based on some previous Disney info, I would not be surprised if this is correct.

Once Disney actually announces a date, I would start looking at FP+ booking opening and soft openings.

Disney has a history of saying "Summer" and meaning May - Star Wars Weekends and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train opening for example. I'm not saying that this means it will be May, but just that them saying opening in summer does not rule it out.

I think this is highly unlikely. From what I've seen opening has been pushed back to late May.

Couple years ago, on our last day at WDW was the first day of soft openings for SDMT. Was really cool to ride it on the first day. Will be in Epcot 2 days between May 7-16th and HOPING we get lucky enough again to ride a new ride.

Looks like a lot of unfinished work yet if you ask me. As much As I would love this to be true I highly doubt it.

I saw the updated photos in the news items today and it looks like there are still at least a few months worth of work to go on the Anna and Elsa new M&G location. Anyone else with any thoughts?
