Frozen castle lighting - is this lit up before 7 on MVMCP nights?

We aren't planning to stay for the Christmas Party - will I get to see the castle all lit up with the Frozen characters at any time during the night?

Also - is it considered a big no-no if we just sit to watch the first parade at 8 and then leave if we aren't buying the party passes? Not interested in rides after 7, just seeing the first parade and castle lighting.

Castle lighting is usually at dusk, as soon as it gets dark, so you should be able to see it even on a party night.

You will NOT be able to stay for the 8:00 parade. Anyone without a party ticket will be escorted out of the park if they attempt to stay.

The show is scheduled for 6:15. If I have read correctly, on regular MK days it also is at 7:30 and MVMCP days it is also at 8:30.

On regular park day with a regular closing: 6:15 and 7:30.

On a MVMCP evening: 6:15 for all guests and 8:00 for Party guests.
