Frozen Birthday!

My Dd turns 7!!!! This week and has decided on a Frozen themed birthday (after much debate). I've ordered decorations, but am looking for ideas on what to do with the kids. Anyone have ideas for crafts or activities? I want something that doesn't involve a lot of parent direction, but more along the lines of 'hey, here's an idea, go have fun".

We have a ton of snow, but it won't be good for snowmen unless we get another big dump soon, since we had a thaw and it's mostly ice for the first 2 inches.

I was thinking snowflake making, maybe just sending them outside for a while.

Also any ideas for the cake? My decorating skills are basic, and I can't purchase due to allergies (Vegan, gluten-free and corn-free - yeah cakes are tricky).

Rent/buy a shaved ice maker - or as we used to call them, snow cone makers. Then either buy or make syrup to pour on the snow cones.

Cut paper into circles, fold the circles into 6ths, and cut out snowflakes. Decorate with gluesticks and glitter.

Pin the carrot on Olaf

Hide mittens around the house, with treats inside. Give each child one mitten, and they have to find the match. (or buy the cheap stretchy gloves)
