Frozen and Soarin' or Illuminations?

The only attractions I'm really interested in at EPCOT are Frozen (I've never been on it), Soarin (one of my all-time favourite attractions), and Illuminations.

The only time I'm planning to spend at EPCOT is one evening somewhere Aug 26-30th. The days after the 27th are supposed to have relatively low crowds.

Right now I think I'll try to get a FP+ for Soarin', hope the wait time for Frozen isn't really awful, and find a spot somewhere on the World Showcase for Illuminations. I'm not actually sure that a FP for Frozen will be available either.....but if it is, which ride usually has a longer line?

Does anyone see a better plan?

Can you be there all day?

I would get a fast pass for frozen if at all possible. It has a very small capacity. The line was just never short. 45 minutes minimum but usually 90+. Soaring actually moves quickly, with multiple screens it is a people eater, and I hit it several times when the posted time was 10-20 minutes. However, that was usually later in the evening. Illuminations is so easy to find a spot for that I wouldn't worry about that at all unless possibly you couldn't stand very long.

I don't want to be there all day. I've visited the park several times in the past and it's just not my cup of tea; I do love Soarin though.

I'm now debating if it would be better to skip Illuminations and go to EPCOT for one morning, when I could ride Soarin' multiple times in a row and FP+ the Frozen ride.

It's going to be hard to get Frozen FPP's for that time since you're well within the 60 day window (and most have been "selling out" right at 60 days or even before). I would say though that if you can get the Frozen FPP (or even if you just want to ride Soarin' more than once) that lines there at the end of the day have been very short. I've found lately that with the 3 screens that a lot of the time the FPP at Soarin' really doesn't save you that much time (like it takes 10 minutes in the FPP line before the merge point where the regular line might be 15 - but then you still wait another 10-15 before actually in the theater so it will show a 30 min wait time). So if you went later in the day, you could probably ride it at least a few times with a minimal wait in the evening before Illuminations.

Also, if you do have the Soarin' (or Frozen) FPP for earlier in the day, you may well be able to get an Illuminations FPP as your 4th once you scan there - I've seen them available most days until around mid-afternoon. Not that it's necessary since there are so many places to see Illuminations, but just in case you wanted it.

The wait for Frozen will be long without a fastpass (and, in my opinion, not worth the wait.)

We loved the new Soarin', but it too will have a line if you're not there for rope drop.

I LOVE Illuminations, but wouldn't spend a FP on it, since you can see it from anywhere along the lagoon.
