I just wondered if this was not good WDW etiquette? I sampled from the kid's section at every buffet we went to. They had different foods I wanted to try. I didn't notice if I got any frowns from others, but I was just wondering.

I couldn't resist the breakfast pizza at CP! :)

Id never give it a second thought, I havent sampled it but only because Im busy with the rest

who cares.....if you see something you want...dig in. You're paying for it right??

I've done it at least once. sometimes you just want mac n cheese:rotfl2:

Ok good, I didn't know if it was one of those things that should be saved for the kids or something....but I guess they constantly refill it and it's not like I took over the whole area!....well, except for the chicken strips at Boma! :rotfl:

We went to the Cape May Cafe and my wife LOVES eating the kids food. She was eating the chix nuggets, hot dogs and mac and cheese, etc and my 6 year old niece (at the time) was eating the mussels and clams!

Rob :)

I always hit it up lol. My friend literally ate the majority of her meal from the kids buffet at one of the restaurants. Sometimes you just have a craving :woohoo:

LOL, I agree! I'm so busy eating up the rest of the other food, I never paid anyone any mind at what or where they were picking food from. But DH have eatin' the kids section before and I never noticed anyone gawking at him...but PP is right, who cares, you're paying for it. ENJOY!:thumbsup2

Haha I have!!! I like mac and cheese lol!!

Not a problem at all- at CP i too like the B pizza but even more so is the puffed french toast.

I ate macaroni and cheese at every buffet we went to last year. I never even thought of people frowing on that--so I wouldn't worry about it. :)

Technically at WDW buffets there is no children's buffet (and also no adult buffet). There is the buffet. They do have, at the locations, an area where the service counter is lower to the ground than most of the counter space, and they tend to have items preferred by children in that lower area, but it is (a) not restricted to children only, and (b) there is no requirement that children use that area only.

And who's to say your not bringing that food back for a kid! LOL!

Kidding aside, Disney doesn't care. As a matter of fact, you've paid adult prices - and they're happy if you pick the cheap chicken nuggets over the pricey prime rib!

Learned years ago if I worried about what everyone thought of me, I'd not do much of anything in life! You paid for the buffet, munch ahead, as much as you want!
