Great, first they had weekly quests on Thursday nights when the girls and I are at the church youth group, so I'd have less than an hour to try to get everyone done after putting them to bed. Now they make it for Sunday mornings! By the time we got done with church, lunch at McD's, and a quick Target run, I had two minutes to do the quest before getting the note saying it was cancelled, half hour after it was scheduled to. Of course I was only in the Esplanade by then so no pin for us!
Only if we don't stop anywhere after church, which we usually do since we live a ways away and church is by all the stores, will we be able to do the current weekly host quests. Oh well.

I know we have gotten really bad, but it's a struggle to get the kids to get themselves up and ready to leave by 10:30 AM! It took me years to convince dh we didn't have to be at church at 8AM so we'd have the full afternoon to work around the house. After years and tears he finally gave in and has seen the light, tha if he really wants to get things done he can get up at his normal time and work a couple hours before getting ready to leave. It IS much easier to wake the kids up at 9 then 7 plus I can usually get on for opening Jungle cruise credits at 9.

However, the best argument not to switch to early service is that my youngest needs stability with teachers and friends, and they don't offer Sunday School for my 5th grader during 1st hour. Most of the time I prefer her to be learning age appropriately with her peers then bored and doodling in our service.

Thank You vmk! Awesome quest..no mini games which meant I could do this all myself and no spoilers! So happy I got my Mickey Pin!! And I agree am now looking for the red chair and the sleigh...I hoping the sleigh will be on sale tomorrow! Thanks vmk

Ugh I couldn't get on VMK this morning.

I'm finding the "I wish I chose something else last night!" posts amusing.
I too chose the wreath pin last night because I had the other items I
would have wanted.

But, since I had no idea how difficult is would be to get the wreath pin, I'm
glad I chose it. Sure, I got it again on today's quest, but it's not the first
time I've been a victim of bad timing.

The night the blue scoreboard and blue penny press was done as a
Thursday night quest, I traded for the blue press earlier that day.

This wouldn't have happened had I not taken the day off of work.
Why? Because I can't play VMK on the work computer during lunch,
so I was on VMK on my day off.

So I kicked myself for having bad timing then, but this time? No big deal.
After the first Homer Simpson "d'oh! moment", the rest don't bother me now.

I almost got the wreath pin at Hula's yard sale but opted for an ugly yellow soldier instead. Why? I figured I'd have the rest of the month to get the wreath pin and if I didn't get one, I could trade less than an ugly yellow soldier for it.

However, I slept through the quest! I woke up maybe 5 minutes before it ended. Luckily someone pointed out that it was still available so I was able to do the quest once and get the wreath pin!
